Steven Tyler's Bandmates Fear He Is Struggling As Drug Rumors Circulate!

This doesn't sound good!
Although Steven Tyler has said he is not leaving Aerosmith, he does want to take a break from the band for about two years to "focus on brand Tyler", according to Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford.
The band fears the worst as they think his erratic behavior could be due to something much more serious. Drummer Joey Kramer explains:
"Steven, he isolates more and more all the time — that's what gives it away to me that there's something going on. I don't know what that is. I know he's made some not so great choices and he's got some negative influences around him now. I love the guy. I just want to see him get some help."
Examples of Tyler's isolation include getting separate management from the band and hardly communicating directly with his bandmates. There have been suspicions that Tyler is using drugs again.
Kramer didn't elaborate too much on the drug claims about Steven that are going around, but Whitford discussed the matter candidly:
"…this guy has a tremendous history of drug abuse, and you have to be suspicious that this is something that's probably going on with him. I have a feeling we might be looking at someone who's just really struggling very badly."
While his bandmates have declared that they will always be there for Tyler, they are still planning to keep working as a band with or without him.
They are even still looking for a new singer and will potentially play under a new band name as fans aren't too keen on an Aerosmith without Tyler.
Whitford hopes the band will "do something creative and push the boundaries of what we do, maybe make some new music, not just go out there and be, like, an Aerosmith cover band."
Well it sounds like they're doing their best without Steven while he works through his problems.
Hopefully he gets the help it sounds like he needs!
In the meantime, are U looking forward to hearing a new and possibly improved Aerosmith?

Hey Mario, what do you think of this little excerpt from Sun Media newspapers out of Toronto? "Following the beat down - the always masculine Hilton wearing a plunging pink top and pink highlights in his hair, posted a hit on YouTube……" Lmao, guess you don't get much respect from Canadians. There's more but I'm sure you're still fuming over your loss.
There is no such thing as an "improved Aerosmith". There can be however, a new band of great musicians. Tyler on the otherhand, the only thing he should brand is his g/f as a yoko ono!
…apparently he is NOT abusing Botox.
I've seen many concerts in my life and to this day, I still say that Aerosmith was THE BEST I've ever seen. There is NO WAY a replacement singer can take Steven Tyler's place. IF he is having these problems again, I am soooo very sorry. But if he is and if the band is planning to simply replace him like Journey did, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be EPIC FAILURE. I hope they are able to rely on their savings because, if this rumor is true, it's OVER for them. :*( Makes me incredibly sad.

I've been posting this all morning but they keep removing them - somebody's bitter!!
-
love how they called him a "hack" and described the fight as a "tiny beat down"
-
just break up already for god's sake. please.
Mario STFU
Love Aerosmith… blah blah blah.Re: Perez Smells His Skidmarks – Great work by you andRe: ba-buttons – kudos for trying. The apology by Molina "I apologize for what I did on June 22 of 2009, even though you engaged in highly offensive comments, including a homophobic slur to my clients, I acknowledge that these kinds of issues should not be resolved through a physical response," from jam canoe ca Music.
Come back Steven! We miss you! There is no Aerosmith without you! I am worried for him and his family and the band and hope he gets the help he needs.
I'm wondering how much of this story is true.
Anyway, hope Steven is well and returns to Aerosmith

okay, dumbass - guess you didn't read the part where Fatboy's lawyer bitched and moaned saying the apology was insincere - the quote the Toronto Sun - "The court was satisfied with the apology."
-
Fatboy fails at this like he does with most things in his bloated, lonely life.

Maybe Liv Tyler needs to head up an intervention.
I hope the family will schedule an intervention soon or this will be a bad outcome.I'm don't care if the band stays together or not but Steven's health should be the main priority right now.I know that I will not be a fan of Aerosmith without ST.His voice is the reason I have listened to them for 30 years.
Without Steven Tyler, there is no Aerosmith.
Apparently the guys want to keep working but ST is to erratic. So they're going to keep working because let's face it- their window for keeping this rock and roll lifestyle up is closing…
Yeah they need a new brand with a female rocker…ahem…ME!!!! I'll sing for these guys! HIRE ME!
Jesus,Perez, please try to keep up! This was posted 2 days ago!
If you're gonna bitch,at least try to do it in a timely fashion!
As for Steven Tyler,we can only hope he comes to his senses.
Aerosmith will go up in flames without their lead singer.
Here's hoping that he gets his shit together.
ABSOLUTELY NOT!! Aerosmith is NOTHING w/o Steven Tyler. HE IS AEROSMITH.
how old is he? maybe it's dementia.
Re: MagzRawk –
Can you play the 'Skin-Flute'…?
Not having Steven Tyler in Aerosmith would be bad. I know there are amazing musicians out there…but you can't compete with The Screamin' Demon. Aerosmith got me into rock n roll and through some pretty awkward times. I hope Steven is ok and is just needing to take some time away from the light. I know Joe Perry was out of the group for a bit back in the day and bands need to move on, but this wouldn't be moving on…they've had a successful career. It would only tarnish their reputation.
Re: fanaero – I TOTALLY agree with the latter part of your statement. Steven's girlfriend is awful, and if he is back on drugs she is the reason for it.
