Miley Speaks On Lost Tour Member

After the bus accident that tragically cost one of her tour members his life, the Cyrus family has released a statement on Miley's website.

It says:

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill 'Uncle Bill' Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed."

So sad.

      I couldn't fathom going onstage, all perky and bouncy, after losing a close friend/staff member in an accident that occurred while working on something I am the cause of indirectly. That must be real hard.

      Wow, I didn't know there were several mind readers amongst the Perez Hilton posters. First of all, to say what she said "wasn't original" is like the stupidest thing ever. I'm sorry, do people need to come up with original and creative statements about someone's death? NO! It's hard to think of something creative to say when you may be grieving. I don't know if Miley really knew him or not, but neither do any of you. So don't call her a stupid terrible whore (paraphrasing several comments) for releasing a statement in memory of a man who passed while doing his job, even if it is generic. Who gives a crap? That statement is often used because it sums up grieving in a nut shell. Again, don't know if Miley truly knew him nor am I saying she's a great person. Just saying don't talk shit about what you don't know.
