While visiting boy toy Jesus Luz' family, Madonna took time during her vacay to see some of the not so glamorous parts of Brazil.
Touring the lawless city of Dona Marta, her Madgesty insisted on wearing a bullet-proof vest under her leather jacket.
Good call!
Just like in Malawi, M is planning to build a school in the shantytown after raising $10 million dollars from local businessmen.
Dayumm! That's a lot of $$$! But who could say no to Madonna?

What she's doing is AMAZING!!! We should all appreciate what someone’s efforts are as a humanitarian. I love that she is the Biggest Female Artist in history and has the biggest tour ever for a solo artist and this is her way of giving back! So great!

He donated all of the $5 million he earned from the Jacksons' Victory tour in '84 to non-profit organizations, donated the $1.5 million compensation he got from Pepsi after he was burnt while shooting their commercial to the burn center where he was treated, he created scholarships for kids who didn't have money to go to college, wrote songs like We Are The World that helped raise millions for the starving and poor in Africa and USA, he went to hospitals in every city he visited and brought toys for kids and spent time with the people who were being treated there while Madonna was out in strip bars drinking, having countless abortions, doing drugs and who knows what else!
