What's the deal, Lily Allen? Why are you trying to brain fuck us?
You remember when Lily went on a big tirade about how it was awful to download music illegally and got mad at legitimate artists like Radiohead for indulging their fans in file sharing?
Well schizo Silly has changed her mind!
Now, she says that if you want to sell her music without her permission, she doesn't care!
When asked about her stance on illegal file sharing, she replied:
"If someone comes up with a burnt copy of my CD and offers it to you for £4, I haven’t a problem with that as long as the person buying it places some kind do of value on my music.”
She does realize she won't see any of that money right? Or have the drugs messed with her head so much, she doesn't understand how these illegal transactions work? Or maybe she is just a hypocrite?
Maybe she is a crazy, drugged-out hypocrite.

If she has enough money to survive the rest of her life. she has a point. Would you rather I not listen to your music at all, or would you rather I got it for free and actually liked it enough to listen to it over and over. Remember, the radio plays this music and all you need is a receiver radio. I could record it from the radio and play it over and over for free. As a matter of fact, this was popular when I went to school. What's my point? There is no point other than: be happy that people buy into the market and that the whole market makes sure people buy into it. If that wasn't the case, musicians would never make enough money to live the rest of their life without relying on anybody. Actually, I think live performances are not the meat and bread of music, rather than album sales. If it isn't the case now, it will be in the near future.
I'm still stuck on the rudeness of her not accepting the fanbook that was made for her that that one guy tried to give her repeatedly and then she kicked it off the stage! I love her music, but she's a bitch!

do not confuse file sharing with piracy. are whole different things.
file sharing is about SHARING - like if you have a pair of jeans and want to lend it to a friend, or a book. well you lend the music. you like it, perhaps you but it. you don't - you delete. does anybody remember the tapes recorded from the radio?? is exactly the same. only that nowadays it's easier to acquire those contents and record them.
it actually HELPS to spread culture. can you recommend something that can't listen/read until you buy it? ridiculous.
piracy is about having economical benefit from selling stuff you don't have the rights to sell because you're not authorized to do so. i totally do not agree with this practice, because it harms the whole industry. doing what you want with other people's property, intellectual work, is disgusting.

Essentially the most important thing is that the music is able to reach people on a wider scale. they should have the satisfaction of knowing people even listen to their music, weather they get paid or not…isn't that truly what art is about?
When she says this then what she is saying is a big eff u to her label. They are the ones that loose money. Artists hardly make money off their cd sales so of course she doesn't care.

It's funny that you can't find anything really bad to say about her anymore, so you have to pick apart the littlest things she says. I'm not a big fan of her music, but I have a lot of respect for her that she didn't allow herself to be bullied by you.
She changed her opinion, that's what happened. The only mistake she did (and always does) is she opposes and mocks something she doesn't like too far, that when she turns into supporting it people laugh at her and calls her crazy.
But anyways, still love her and her big mouth =)

Perez, because you seem to use the word loosely, I think you're misusing 'hypocrite'. If Lily Allen was a hypocrite, it'd mean that, for example, she'd say she is against illegal filesharing and mad at Radiohead for promoting the practice, while at the same time doing it herself, or posting a free album on her website. Something of that nature. In this case, she's not a hypocrite but just a flip-flopper, really. She said one thing, took it back (or not) and said the opposite.
You know, if Lady GaGa said this, you'd think it was brilliant. Come on Perez, stop being a douche canoe.
