Another Brawl Went Down At Chuck E. Cheese

fighting-in-the-ball-pen__opt1-1__opt4.jpg

Someone needs to change this slogan to this place to "Where A Kid Can Become Psychologically Damaged."

Our Chuck E. Cheese throw-down news comes to us this morning from Columbus, Ohio, where a father of a 1 year-old interrupted the child's birthday festivities by pulling out a knife and starting a fight with around 20 other people.

Parents frantically grabbed their kids and ran like hell to get out of the line of fire as the twenty or so people got into a terrible fight.

As of now, there are no reports of injury or signs that Chuck E. Cheese will give up and just close its doors for the safety of America's youth.

Chuck E. Cheese: "Where a kid can be a kid that gets harmed".

    4. 4

what the hell??? you should seriously get a chuck e cheese tag…

    5. 5

These dysfunctional ppl (I won't call them parents) raise dysfunctional kids. There should be a law that makes parents go through stringent testing before being able to procreate.

This is ridiculous. What is it with that place that makes people so violent? And people still go there??

    7. 7

no doubt it was a group of nigron

    8. 8

They should change it from "Where a kid can be a kid" to "Where a kid is possibly in danger".

Re: Zombie Hitler – If it was a group of dicks from your family, all you would need is a baby saucer.

wtf was this.. a gang war? Cause that's the only reason i can think of for someone to take a knife to chuck e cheese???

wtf was this.. a gang war? Cause that's the only reason i can think of for someone to take a knife to chuck e cheese???Re: AnnaNicoleSmith – quite being ignorant you racist cow.

    12. 12

Just hypothetical. This knife-weilding "man" wants to harm someone whom is probably paying into the system which in turn pays for all his welfare and medical needs. Interesting. Arguments?

    13. 13

Why do they serve alcohol at a CHILDREN'S fun place???

    14. 14

Perez Hilton thinks to much of himself. Get a life. Twat.

    15. 15

What do you expect from a place that uses a rat as its mascot? Chuck E. Cheese was scummy years ago. You could be sure that your kids would come home sick from a BD party after jumping in a pool of plastic balls covered in snot, or some big kids would steal their tickets. An early lesson in darwinism.

    16. 16

      Chuck e cheese ….Rocks!

So NOT Celebrity Juice. Who gives a shit about some dumbass trailer dweller causing trouble in OH? This has NOTHING to do with celebs, Hollywood or even real news

    21. 21

I believe it is now officially time for Chuck E Cheese to have its own category on here!

    22. 22

Re: AnnaNicoleSmith – zombie's post = funny as usual. your post = lame and sad. :-)

    23. 23

i hate to say something like this but i think that people that are this crazy and act like this around their children should be euthenized. there is no place in a so called civil society for animals that would act like this. i could care less what race they are or where they come from. this type of stuff has to stop. Its Freakin Chuck E Cheese! good lord…….

    24. 24

omg. this place used to be so kiddie-friendly in the 80s. what happened? and do they still have the chair that rotates in a circle attached to a wall? LOL that was my FAVORITE as a child.

      25

OMG!!! But seriously thats what they get for serving beer at a childrens play place!!! Not that I am against beer…but come on now this is getting out of control!!

    26. 26

I regret going there as a child.

But luckily I was always into the arcades. (:

    27. 27

Thankfully I stopped going there when I was eight.
WTH is wrong with this place?? Is that stupid rat costume that leaves everyone mentally skrewed!!

    28. 28

they should seriously shut down Chuck E. Cheese

    29. 29

Re: Novel1 – Actually it has everything to do with real news. This is the type of stuff that gets reported on the news. Re: Zombie Hitler – your razor-edged wit has just cut me to the bone.
      Love it!!! =)

    30. 30

What the fuck even is Chuck E. Cheese?? It sounds seriously gross. What food do they sell?

    31. 31

      haha.
      What a bunch of psychos.

    32. 32

Re: sharre – There is a law like this, but it's only for parents who want to adopt. The law can demand you have certain skills before you adopt children but cannot demand you have these skills before you procreate. It goes back to the law that can't tell you what to do with your own body (i.e. the controversy about abortion).
      *
What's interesting is how many people believe there should be a law that makes parents go through stringent testing in order to have kids but then these same people are very much against abortion. B/c what happens to those people would make horrible parents but are not allowed the choice to abort? Illogical, isn't it? It's not like you can even force someone to take parenting classes…b/c if someone doesn't want to learn something and apply it to their lives, they won't. Or maybe these people want to take these children away by force? So many ridiculous scenarios are possible. Scenarios that end up being much more $$$ than simply allowing for publicly funded abortions. Tax money going to publicly funded abortions is much more efficient than this same tax money going to rehabilitate/place unwanted children.

Re: poodlewithamohawk – I used to love Chuck E Cheese when I was younger. I only went once but I thought it was great! Very friendly people. Trailer trash people are really quite friendly and down to earth. Much better than the pretentious snotty image obsessed losers I grew up with :D

    34. 34

Re: prim&proper – I have hair like your avi. Except I don't put it up in pigtails like Cindy. LOL

    35. 35

Here we go again! More degenerate blacks! The blacks have turned the Cheese in East Pasadena into a den of gang bangers, overweight whores parading their bastard kids around.

    36. 36

And how is this celebrity gossip? Please stop reporting!things like this, you can find in news area. Give us gossip instead!

    37. 37

      were they black?

    38. 38

Why they serve beer at a kid's restaurant is beyond me.

    39. 39

Chuck E Cheese leans towards the trailer trash/ghetto culture anyway. Add the sale of beer to that, and you have a bunch of drunk parents who, of course, want every single thing their kid can have for the least amount of money or on someone else's dime, not even considering the baby daddy or baby mamma jealousy conflicts that arise from this culture. If you want a controlled party I would suggest you do a bit of hands-on parenting and have it at home.

    40. 40

OMG - PEREZ! It is not chuck e's fault! Ban idiot people

    41. 41

Re: K8TT – its not like you can get drunk there. One beer an hour with a 2 beer max. It is to relax the parents with all the screaming kids

    42. 42

LOL and here i thought Dandy Bear was the ghetto spot

      chuck e cheese lol

They need to keep Chuck E Cheese out of the Damn Ghetto!!!

    44. 44

As we say in Trailer Park Land; well; it would appear that NO one actually died so why not see this as a 'training session' for the playgrounds of the Future……..

Go see THE ROAD. GET them ready. SOON…….. I don't actually mean anything by this post - but DO YOU know how easy it is to get into the facilities where YOUR children are housed WHILE you work??? BLAHHH!!!!!

A very, very serious warning. Thank you Chuck E. Cheese for the volunteer position. From many wonderful personal experiences my family knows that YOUR establishment actually has wonderful security; hence and therefore THIS man actually had to have a CHILD with him to enter the facility….. Thank you Chuck E. Cheese for NOT putting these sad stories on the backs of the children's names. A respectful company WILL prevail WHEN people realize WHOSE back you are chosing to cover. THE innocent children who do not get named when you step in to be part of the real solution. Thank you.

Re: BeNiceYall – Not true. The one I went to had pitchers. Plus, having alcohol any place says to me, "hey drinkers, you can entertain your kids for an hour while you can get your own alcohol/pacification fix". Being buzzed works up your anger more than being flat-out drunk.

    46. 46

Re: Zombie Hitler – Hysterical! (#13)

    47. 47

I think it is funny this is news worthy. Sadly this is a common occurence at least it was when I worked at CEC in high school. I remember one party the guy came a little late with the cake and baby mama threw a huge fit and her family started calling him a dead beat so what does he do? He gets mad as hell and grabs the cake with his child sitting right there and throws it on the floor. Suddenly all of baby mama's family is freaking out trying to save the cake while the guy gets into a fight with one of her cousins. We had several situations where people would come in for the parrty and would claim they only brought a check to pay and would sneak out before management could approach them. How you can sneak out with 20+ kids is a skill that is beyond me.

BeNice Yall you are wrong. They sell beer by the pitcher and there is not really a limit of how many you can buy. They claim only two pitchers but that is per person. We always had drunk parents at the location I worked at.

      Re: MsDashira
You do not need a child in order to enter Chuck E Cheese. Their security system is a joke considering I've walked out with my nephew who had a different number than I did without hassle. Plus whenever we've left their check station has no one there so you can walk out with anyone's kid and none of them would know.

    49. 49

Re: poodlewithamohawk – You hit the Rat right on the head! Any pizza chain with a rat as their mascot is just begging for some ratty-ass behavior! They need to start passing out razorblades or bullets instead of tokens for the kids……

Re: MonicaNichole03 – Sounds like an entertaining job. Did you have to clean it up?

    51. 51

Thank you Monica Nichole03. I live in Canada. Our Chuck E. Cheese Franchises are obviously run under different rules. Thank goodness you responded in the factual way that you did. THAT is definately NOT a secure system that you describe. You have now given your American franchises the information they actually need to work to a safe and fun solution. How much alcohol is served in Canada? Very little. As an adult you have to get someone else to watch your children while you purchase your alcohol. Not a posted rule, but the way they set up their play-zones; you just don't have any other way to do it. You have to have that other adult registered with the front security people with all your family present also. How do I know? Single mom. A beer once in a while is okay, but a community needs to encourage and model good moderation levels. Don't kid yourselves. The public dictates purchasing. THIS is the number one blog site in the entire world. Company reps read this stuff. Really. I am a company rep. I look for trends on this site before I change how or what or whatever I sell….. Thanks again to someone who obviously saw the flaws and has now told someone who cares.

      Re: AriLove13
Sorry, no. This AIN'T news. Perhaps a local news might carry it but my station wouldn't. It's of no interest to people who have real lives.

Re: prop8rocks – so, do you hate everyone, or just gay ppl & african-americans? try a little love, brother… you might live longer and happier.

Re: prop8rocks – I live in Columbus Ohio, and I assure you its not in a black area…Since when this topic become racist and not so much about the real issue????

    63. 63

Re: prop8rocks – Well, You'd loose that bet. I live in Columbus and its not located in a "black area". There's always someone wanting to make issues all about race, Its no wonder why we have ignorant adults raising kids.
