She's been in like five episodes? What gives?
The National Enquirer is reporting that Sopranos star turned Desperate Housewives regular Drea Matteo may not be a resident of Wisteria Lane for much longer.
Sources close to the show are saying that the sinking ratings and her big paycheck have forced the hands of the ABC execs to make the decision.
Perhaps this will be one of the causalities of the Oceanic Airlines crash!

Of course, I loved her as Adriana, but that never has made me watch an episode of that dumb Desperate Housewives any more than another favorite, Gale Harold's, addition to the cast did.

I loved Drea on Sopranos.
I only watched her once or twice on Desperate Housewives .. wasn't impressed with that character at all.

actually apparently the story line they are going to take is that she is finally going to be caught for the crime she committed like 18 years ago. it is said that she will be sentenced to life in prison.
Unless there's a show about greasy Guidos, she has no business being on anything else.

Good, her and her whole greasy guido family can go too. That storyline never meshed with the rest of Wisteria Lane anyway. Probably one of the reasons for the low ratings; they never did get to the point of their white trash family. Good riddance. Take that child molester hubby with ya.

Re: Nonbreeder – actually, yeah they should. most people would be suprised to know how accurate the enquire is. they have allot of "sources" in the industry and even many of the celibrities themselves leak info to them. i friend of mines father was i big wig for that paper and she told me how allot of the info comes about. its more accurate than not.

Too bad - Drea's AWESOME! The only reason the ratings are sinking is because Marc Cherry had a bitch fit and killed off Nicolette last season…STUPID STUPID MOVE!!! None of the other housewives come close to her hotness…

Re: AriLove13 – yes and also towards the end of the episode right before the waitress closed it looked like someone was watching them. so it must have been her spying on her husband. idk i may be wrong but i managed to figuire out who julies married boyfriend was before it was revealed.
Good. She sucked anyway. They never should have killed off Eddie. If someone was going to bite the big one, it should have been either her or Terri? And whatever happened to Andrew?

I hate to see her leave the show, because Drea is so talented. However, as much as I enjoy the show and Drea, I'm not sure its the right fit. Drea needs something a little bit more hard edged or a sitcom…. hell, I don't why she's not doing movies!!!

It jumped that shark when he killed off Edie (Nicolette Sheridan)…and they brought this gal in to take her place as the badie on the show.
Didn't work.
There is only one Edie and they screwed with that one one time too many!

I don't care for her character or her storyline at all. That husband of hers does look like a greasy skiv with those wife beater shirts and those too short opened all the way crappy button downs that he wears all the time. And what happened to her son? He's just disasppeared suddenly. The whole thing wasn't thought out very well at all. They just saw an opportunity to get Drea and grabbed her with no thought as to how they'd use her.
I really liked her. I did not like her husband on the show though!
