Justice Has Prevailed! Kate Gosselin Gets Primary Custody!

The offspring of Jon and Kate Gosselin stand a better chance of growing up without needing extensive therapy now that their mother has received primary custody of their care.
But the joy we feel is tainted by the disgust we continue to harbor for Jon.
As we hear it, Jon didn't put up too much of a fuss over his kids while in arbitration this weekend. Sources say he easily agreed to let Kate have the kids instead of fighting for joint custody.
But while it took them one afternoon to discuss the future of their children, Jon's lawyer says they now have gone into the stages of discussing division of their assets, which he seems to think will take to January to air out.

I'm just clapping my hands in delight. I guess this means that Kate will finally stay home and be a mother to those children instead of gallivanting all over creation pimping herself out. Um, Primary Custody is different from joint custody only in that the primary custodian can make emergency decisions etc.. without having to get them cleared through the other parent. It is usually always done when the parents don't live that close together and has really nothing to do with the amount of time the kids spend with each parent. Try looking something up before you post it.

They both agreed that she would have primary custody. Nor did Jon "not fight for joint custody", he HAS joint custody, she just has primary custody, meaning they will live with her more than 50% of the time. But, as you said, that doesn't mean she will be home with them AT ALL, they'll just be in her house, with the nannies, while she is out promoting herself and doing her famewhore stroll. He'll probably still see them more than her.
And just wait for TLC to continue their attempt to sue Jon until they get him to sign off on them being able to start exploiting the kids for profit again, with Kate leading the charge!

Just because she has primary custody doesnt mean she is a good parent, or even a better parent. Just because Jon didnt fight for it more doesnt mean he doesnt love his kids! You dont know exactly what went on behind closed doors. Children custody is complicated, so Perez until you go through it shut the fuck up!

I can see why Jon didn't want primary custody anyhow, beause it's easier for him to exercise bad judgment and pursue his "flavor of the week" women if he is out of what was the family home. I'm sure Steve will be putting his time in at the house for Kate but somehow Saint Kate gets away with banging a married man. I feel for those poor kids. Both their mother and their father kicked them to the curb when they found out they were better media fodder than the children were. It is a fact that the mother gets primary custody 99% of the time. And no, Kate did not "win" anything. Neither did the kids, because there is no way Kate will be home with them any more than Jon would be. It's obvious to regular viewers of the show that Kate HATES being around her kids.

I guess you have to look at this as the lesser of two evils. Kate is just as bad as Jon is, but she can cry on command. And of course Perez will side with her, he's a little girl just like Kate is, emotionally and mentally.
This is particularly damaging information in the sense that, if the kids classmates or parents read this and share this with their children… it could have a damaging affect on their mental state because you are basically saying that their dad doesn't care for them. You are setting a very dangerous precedent here perez by posting such information given the fact you were exactly in the arbitration room. you should mention this is speculative information and hasn't been confirmed by either parties.
I don't know why you think Kate is so wonderful…they both are bad parents in their own ways. She wants to be an actress and how do you know that wasn't her whole reason behind doing the show? I don't agree with what Jon Gosselin does but he strikes me as one of those people that's been beat down their whole marriage and when they get free…they kinda go wild because they have never been able to think for themselves. It's not right but Kate Gosseling IS a harpy shrew.
It's pretty common knowledge that in ANY state, the mother usually gets primary custody of any children. It's also common knowledge that most judges do not want to take children away from their mother without hard proof of her being an unfit mother or a danger to her children. This isn't a win. It was a "gimme," just because he didn't "fight it" doesn't mean that he didn't want it, he probably just knew that he didn't stand a chance in hell of getting it & there's no point in dragging something out without a reward in the end.
Besides, those who watch the show know that those kids will more than likely spend more time with their nannies or caregivers instead of with Kate because she'll be busy galavanting herself & her bodyguard around the country "promoting" her books.
No matter what you think about Jon or Kate, those poor kids. The show used to be about how cute they are.

I would'nt go as far as saying that the kid's will have a better chance of being normal kid's now that Kate has primary cutody! She has a mean streak in her that could cause damage to these kid's mentally. I guess she's probably the best of the 2 choices but nevertheless these kid's are in for a life change an expereince as they get older and understand more about their parent's.
