Suri Cruise was spotted out in New York over the weekend with mom Katie Holmes and her seldom seen older sister, Isabella Cruise.

Isabella is one of Tom Cruise's children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman that neither of them hardly talk about.

By the way, Katie, it's November in New York City!

You, Isabella and EVERYONE else in the picture are sporting jackets so why the hell isn't Suri?

      Perhaps its not so cold for Suri. She is old enough to tell her mommy whether she's cold or not. You also have to consider she grew up in the cold weather. When she was born, Tom and the family spend a long time in Colorado, and they travel there a lot I'm sure.

      Are Suri and Isabella really considered step-sisters? Tom Cruise is the father of both Suri (biologically) and Isabella (by adoption), so in that sense they share fathers but have different mothers, Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman, making them half-sisters. They share no biological parents, but they're still sisters if Tom Cruise is the father of both, but if it's necessary to point out the difference, you could also say they're adoptive sisters. Just because they are not blood-related does not mean they're step-sisters!

      my son is the same way….he is never cold…and wears shorts and tshirts in winter. I can't explain it…especially since he is originally from the warmest region of Florida and he now lives up north.

      If she is anything like my friend's 3 yr old daughter, she probably whines all the time about being hot and wants to just shed the jackets, sweaters or coat. But still in all, it's cold…put something on even if it's a fleece sweater. Something lightweight yet warm…darn it.

      I will bet that Suri threw a little fit over wearing her coat and that the jacket is in her backpack, which is plastic, and so the backpack is helping keep her warm, also. A good mom picks her battles, and I have no doubt that Katie is a good mom. And there is no need to pick on Isabella. She is just a teen and we should not criticize how she looks as she is not finished developing.

      For once I really like what Katie is wearing usually I think she has bad taste in clothes. Little Suri is so pretty but I don't understand why her mom always dresses her for summer no matter what kind of weather. I wish Tom Cruise would adopt me it seems a cushy life of travel, shopping all the perks that come with fame and money I could handle that. Isabella is pretty too.

      You need to go play with your dog or something. When kids are cold, they tell you. They throw their jackets off over and over if they're too hot. Kids have better circulation than adults do, and they're constantly moving.

      It always shocks me how no one ever asks Nicole about Isabella and Conner. No one finds it weird that the MOTHER of these two children is never around her children? Not good parenting, but I am a elementary school teacher and see it every day so I can say that giving in to bratty behavior is pretty much the way things are currently done by most people. I hope the next generation improves. Suri is on her way to being an impossible hellcat–if they can't stand up to her now imagine her at age 16?

      As for the Isabella haters, she is at an age where lots of girls are on the bigger side. Yes, people used to be thinner but go to any middle school or high school and you will see she is about average today. Not a great thing, but I am pretty sure that poor girl has a hard enough time with her anorexic looking mom–she probably thinks she is bigger than she is and doesn't need randoms to comment on it. She didn't put herself out there to be famous, she was just born into it.

      One thing I will give Tom - he is involved in this adopted kids lives. Photos of him and Katie doing stuff with them, attending their weekend sports, etc, are regularly seen.

      When was the last time Nicole was seen with these kids??? Since she and Tom divorced and especially since she created her new family, the answer is NEVER.

      Yes I agree that you have to choose your battles as a parent, but wearing a coat should not be negotiable in cold weather. If Katie is one of those parents that believe in letting her child "choose" her own clothes and express herself, then you show Suri two coats and tell her to "choose" the one she MUST wear. End of story. People forget these day with all this free expression and letting children "be themselves" that they are STILL ONLY CHILDREN!

      If you knew anything about little kids, you'd know that some of them can be hot natured. I'm an adult and don't wear jackets until it's absolutely freezing and I was the same way as a kid. Maybe Suri is hot natured too. It doesn't look like she's cold, she isn't acting cold and she looks fine. If she wanted to wear a jacket, I'm sure she would.       Yes, she probably should have been wearing a jacket judging from the surrounding people wearing jackets, it looks like it must have been cold. But come on peeps, you don't get the flu by cold weather or pneumonia. That is an old wives tale. You get these types of illnesses along with other respiratory illnesses through bacteria or viruses, whether it be primary or sequela. Pathogens are what causes this stuff. The cold weather may play a factor in that it causes people to seek indoors at times creating more of a crowd which makes it easier for these pathogens to transfer from person to person since people are of closer proximity of eachother.
