Paula Abdul Goes Fishing - For Work!
While at the opening of her cousin's new retail store, Tweak 99, Paula Abdul did not hold back about her plans for the future.
As Oprah plans to leave the world of talk show glory, Paula is dead set on filling the void!
Yikes!!!!
"I have really great ideas," she said, as she hopes it would happen in the next few years. "It would be fun and quirky and it would be insightful. It would be fun to jam with the band and have amazing guests and introduce amazing different formats on the show."
Maybe she could do a bit similar to ones she did on Idol?! Like putting your head on the table and struggling to speak in coherent sentences?!
"I feel I would be really good at it. I have the ability to to connect with people on a level. I've proven to pierce the heartstrings, but also to be celebratory and bring out the best in people," she continued.
But, Paula does not deny what a "phenomenon" Oprah is until she drew blatant comparison to Idol!!!
"Like 'American Idol,' there's a place and time that makes history. That's Oprah," she said.
We hope that's the prescription drugs talking!!

Quite frankly I have to give her kudos for trying. If the idea is good … then why not! Perez have you seen the shit on television lately. A prescription free Paula may not be bad (there's been a lot worse).
She's couldn't be any worse than the majority of talk show idiots on air right not, just imagine the entertainment value of Paula on TV. I'd watch.

LOL! the only way this woman could host a talk show is if they served coctails during entire hour– both for paula (so she could function) and the audience and guests (so they wouldn't notice that she has no business having her own show!)
I would watch Paula's show. She is funny, I laugh at her humour. But then again, I also think Will Ferrell is a sexy and talented genius….
