Katie Holmes went to see a screening of New Moon in New York City with a couple of girlfriends and apparently they talked during the whole movie!
A source said:
"Katie talked through all of New Moon. It was unbelievable — they talked nonstop about the movie and everything else. Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realized who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie."

well, i saw that movie last night and the theater was full to the brim, and people wouldnt shut up there either. it fucking ruined parts of the movie, the emotion, with ppl yakking and laughing and all kinds of things. I hate when people do that!
I seriously doubt the story is true….I'm a New Yorker and we don't give a damn f…uck about celebrities..trust me…she would've been shushed if the story was true.

I would have called out her name and then politely told her we could not hear the movie due to their talking. Katie should be ashamed not the other viewers. I am also fed up with the rude Judd women. I use to love them but Ashley is rude to waitresses, Wynonna is jealous of Taylor Swift, and Naomi is nasty to contestants on singing shows. What with famous people thinking they are gods and the public that bought their products are nothing.

Annoyingly this is happening everywhere whether it's celebrities doing it or not. I paid twice to see this movie and twice it was ruined for my idiots deciding that it's acceptable to answer their phones and have conversations, and sit chatting all the way through the thing. People who can't mind their manners in cinema should all be put in the same room so none of them can hear it. Paying £7.50 to be there does NOT entitle anyone to act however they act in their living room. If they can't behave then they should be banned from movie theatres, simple as that.
More fool the audience for not telling them to quiet down. I wouldn't let anyone else ruin my movie experience (like she's some form of royalty anyway???).

There was this family the other night sitting behind me with liiiittle kids who whined, bumped our chairs, held onto our chairs the entire time - the parents were defiant that we asked them to quiet their little cherbus. It was apalling. Time before that, this family brought in their INFANT to the 2012 movie! I consider that child abuse - I'm sure it is not healthy for a newborn to be subjected to such LOUD noise, plus, the baby was crying, etc. Caveat: Both familys were Mexican - I wondered if mabye they didn't "understand" that one should be respectful to others. Wondered also if letting your children run amuck was part of their culture! Guess the rules (oh, and laws) don't apply to them. JUST SAYIN!

When I went and saw New Moon the second time there was this girl behind me that wouldn't stop talking. I wanted to turn around and tell her to shut up. Than to top it off, her phone started going off. She was SO annoying, if it had been Katie I would have been like, "Look, I know your Katie Holmes but if you want to talk during a movie, go do it during one of your own."
