    He needs to follow some path away from alcohol addiction for himself but especially for his family. Get better David, you gotta be close to your rock bottom. I will pray for you.

  7. 7

    Oh dear. Hope he is OK. Sending my love his way. There need to be more controls on alcohol anyway, it is dangerous stuff and I think a lot of people have become indifferent to the dangers. xxx

  8. 8

    He's sure hell-bent on committing suicide on the frequent-installment plan. How else could you tolerate yourself as a complete laughing stock?

  9. 9

    I'm going to assume that he miscalculated the amount of alcohol he could consume in order to still get pissed, but still look ok 12 hours after the fact, or something like that.
    And he fucked up on that calculation.
    Soooooooooo, next time he should be more careful.
    Oui/Non?

  10. 10

    Is that a hairpiece?

  11. 11

    It seems to be the only way he's getting any attention anymore is to try and commit suicide or something.

    12

    It's almost like he's trying to die.

  13. 13

    David Hasselhoff needs to obtain help for his rampant alcoholism ASAP or he's going to wind up dead very soon. Obviously his binge drinking is totally out of control at this point.

    IF he won't commit himself to a detox center, his family should stage an intervention and force him to sober up.

  14. 14

    Man clearly this guy needs rehab and quick. How very sad.

  15. 15

    wonder what excuse he will come up with this time? He is running low on them….

  16. 16

    How does this man hold a high paying job on 'America's Got Talent'.

    I don't watch the show because of him and also the silly bitch that sits beside him.

  17. 17

    He Had A Bit to Much To Drink I Bet

  18. 18

    This guy needs to get to rehab ASAP. Sad :(

    19

    He is a fat drunk! I hate him!

  20. 20

    I don't know why this poor guy doesn't get help….all of his incidents are so very public…one can only assumes that one of these times he won't make it…sad..

  21. 21

    Perez: Don't you have an update on what's happening with this over-the-hill alcoholic yet? He needs to be forced (committed) into rehab…

  22. 22

    this is :D EAD MAN WALKING" please don,t joke.very sad…….

  23. 23

    Oh damn! Hope he gets help really fast. Where are his circle of friends, co workers and family. I'm sure there are signs. They need to stage an intervention on him!

  24. 24

    Drunk Again !

  25. 25

    David Hasselhoff has such huge demons. He just can't seem to escape. I feel nothing but sympathy for him. You, on the other hand, gloat. F*ck you, Hilton, your bloggers, and your little dog too. I hope it all comes back to you very soon. Yours will be agony I will delight in.

  26. 26

    It's becoming harder and harder to feel empathy for this guy. I understand he's supposed to be a real sweetheart in person but I'm getting sick of watching him try to kill himself. There comes a time, after this many tries, that it just becomes suicide and his choice…. he has no respect for himself or any desire to try and fix his problem…. or he'd be in rehab. He has been a mess for sooooooooo long now….

  27. 27

    And He used to be such a handsome man…Just goes to show ….. Know what I'm say'n … ?

  28. 28

    Maybe he just choked on a Wendy's burger her was scarfing down again and cut his air supply off.

  29. 29

    poor hoff :(

  30. 30

    He is totally out of control with his addiction! He needs some serious help .ASAP

  31. 31

    Oh my phockin Gawd !! He's, what, how old ?!? And when the fuck was that snap taken ?!? Anyway, 'just a touch of grey' on the sideburns area, and he wants to portray to anybody following any insignificant aspect of his life that he's actually aging far sloooooooooower than the rest of the population.
    Umm, OK ?!?
    "Just For Men" has got to put warning labels on their products that you might look fucking funny to some people, heheeheee ;)

  32. 32

    Although we do not know whether the incident was alcohol induced, David Hasselhoff was found passed out at his home in Encino on Friday.

    - I think we can just assume that. it would be a more accurate assumption than half of the shit posted on this website. This guy needs help.

  33. 33

    whats wrong with this douche, he's rich, has good looks, why cant he get it together? I hope he does, he seems like a good guy, aside from all the douchiness.

  34. 34

    Your finally learning from the Michael Jackson incident. Don't post shit cause it may be serious this time. Congratulations.

    on another site it said he had a seizure from drinking before, during, and after Thanksgiving (sounds like a good bender to me). Hasselhoff's neighbor Christian (he asked that we not use his last name), said that he saw the ambulance arrive at Hasselhoff's home. "I asked one of the paramedics how David was doing and he told me his eyes were rolling back into his head, he was drooling and that he'd had a seizure." Unfortunately, said Christian, "this isn't the first time this has happened to him." Hasselhoff was drinking both before and after Thanksgiving before suffering the seizure that landed him in the hospital.

    At least he didn't say "exhaustion" for once!

  36. 36

    His poor children. Watching your father self-destruct like that will f you up for years to come.

  37. 37

    We may not know whether the incident was alcohol induced but it's a pretty good bet!

  38. 38

    alcohol is a hell of a drug…and it`s legal!!!

  39. 39

    aww. its really is sad, he obv is hitting rock bottom.. poor guy

  40. 40

    OOH DAVID

    i hope you are okay

  41. 41

    Why won't the old drunk just die?

  42. 42

    Hoff can continue drinking all he wants but his liver first and then the rest of this organs will go on strike and he will die…. It's a ugly death… He should watch "Leaving Las Vegas" that might teach him something

  43. 43

    it's probably just for attention..

  44. 44

    How's the cheeseburger doing?

  45. 45

    Some people are just miserable in life and do these things to slowly kill themsleves….without saying a singe word….

  46. 46

    Turkey Overdose.

  47. 47

    He will need a liver transplant if it keeps up, and producers actually let a drunkie be a judge of a competition?

  52. 52

    ~~~~I HAVE HIS EXCUSE…I WAS CELEBRATING THANKSGIVING AND ATE TOO MUCH TURKEY WITH CONTAINS TRYPTOPHAN. THE TRYPTOPHAN CAUSED ME TO GET EXTREMELY DROWZY, AND MY FAMILY WAS UNABLE TO AWAKE ME. EVERYTHING IS FINE, I DON'T HAVE AN ALCHOHOL PROBLEM, AND THIS WAS JUST A MISUNDERSTANDING.~~~~
  53. 53
    This is incredibly sad, and I foresee this man's life coming to a tragic, untimely end, sooner than later.
    I shake my head when reading others' callous words, know-it-all solutions, and uneducated commentary. Alcoholism is an awful, destructive disease. It ruins peoples' lives, careers, and destroys families. I know this first-hand, as my dad was an alcoholic, who struggled to maintain his sobriety for most of his adult life. He lost his battle with the bottle in June, 2006. He was 56 years-old. Cause of death: respiratory failure, due to acute alcohol poisoning. He had been over-served in a bar, by an establishment whose staff did not uphold serving laws. My dad collapsed in a park, three blocks from home, and died, alone, like some unwanted stray dog. Blood alcohol level: 0.45.
    My dad was not a "loser", "low-life", "douchebag", or "waste of flesh". He had been a police officer for 13 years, a long-time volunteer fireman, and spent 22 years as a paramedic. A lot of people are alive today because of my dad. My dad was talented, brilliant, had numerous friends, and a beautiful family (straight out of a J. Crew catalog) — including a 6.5 month old granddaughter who he adored. His alcoholism was complicated by PTSD, depression, and anxiety. He was ashamed of himself, and had sought professional help. Obviously, it didn't work.
  54. 54
    David Hasselhoff is also a father, a friend to many people, and talented in his own right. He is obviously in great pain, and who KNOWS what's happened in his personal life? Have people ever thought to consider that maybe he too suffers from a form of mental illness, which acerbates his alcoholism? No. Probably not — because it's easier to point the finger at him, and criticize him (a stranger!) for being a "loser" and "a mess".
    Shame on people who do this.
  55. 55
    It's not as simple as "just attending AA" or "going to rehab". Alcoholism is a very complex, misunderstood disease. And the more people tear this man (and other alcoholics apart) with their ignorant two cents worth, the more social unacceptable & misunderstood alcoholism becomes.
    Shaming this man publicly, tearing him apart, and berating him is NOT helpful — neither to he or his suffering family & friends. That man needs love & support to help him feel self-worth, to begin his recovery process. And I pray that he gets this, before it's too late.
    56
    NOT AGAIN! he's going to kill himself soon. DAVID GET SOME HELP AND STICK WITH IT! YOUR GOING TO THE GRAVE SOON.
  57. 57
    Re: Miss_Smithers – It IS as simple as that. The person has to admit they're ready to go, or the back-of-your-mind cravings will always win out. In my opinion, AA's better than rehab. Lots cheaper 1, and B), you're tended by people who KNOW the thoughts you're thinking. They get tough on you too, -something a doc who's never been there can't do. There's plenty of ways around the 'god' EXCUSE, so when folks say they can't tolerate that- go to a different group. Not all AAs are created equal. I'm an alumni- 5 years sober in December.
    If the seizure stories are true, he's by-passed pancreatitis and gone into what they call "wet-brain" (for AAers). VERY bad, and if it's suicide he wants, it won't be long now. I had a friend who went thru it, and she's never been the same person since.
  58. 58
    Re: Miss_Smithers – I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Alcohol is the most dangerous drug out there, but it is grossly underestimated because it is both legal and socially acceptable. It is the only drug that's withdrawals can kill you, and trust me, people drop like flys from it all the time. Heart attacks, seizures, respritory failure, etc. Alcohol is a depressant, meaning it greatly depresses your respiriatory, circulatory and nervous systems. You get a major drunk who has been on a major bender, and then they try to dry out, their system goes beserk in the other direction. People die from it ALL THE TIME, we just don't realize how often because it is classified as heart attack, siezure, etc., etc.
  59. 59
    so he's dead, right?
    Most people would be so grateful for the good career fortune this guy has had.
    Get it together, Hasselhoff, and fly right.
    Nice.
