J.J. Abrams Behind Samurai Jack

J.J. Abrams has a new project up his sleeve! He will be serving as producer on the feature film version of the acclaimed Cartoon Network series Samurai Jack.
The film, which will be a combination of traditional animation and 3-D, will mirror the series which centers around a Japanese samurai and his quest to defeat the evil wizard, Aku.
Although Samurai Jack only aired from 2001 through 2004, it had a huge following from viewers and critics alike!

Eh, I liked the TV show, but I'm not sure if its movie worthy. If its anything like the show, it'll be SLOW until fighting scenes.
I quiet liked the show it had it's funny moments and quiet deep moments; was decent compared to the other cartoon network toons.
It won an emmy for every year it was on. Plus really flat animation like Jack's tends to make the best 3d images also it could be pretty cool.
Samurai Jack ? Is that like a gook Panama Jack ?
that's a great show! can't wait for the movie.
Thats AMAZING!!!!!!! I LOVE SAMURAI JACK……
I originally thought this was a live-action movie. So you're telling me that they're going to revive one of the best animated series ever for the big screen, with JJ Abrams, the director of "Star Trek" and creator of "Lost" producing?
