Tiger Finally Releases His Statement
Tiger Woods is attempting to put a cork in the media's speculation over Friday's car accident!
The golf pro has addressed the issue in a pretty general statement, as expected, via Woods' official website.
Writes Tiger:
"As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore.
This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again.This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.
The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.
This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be."

This is all so totally bizarre! I mean who goes running out of their home at 2 in the morning? Also why is Elin going around with a golf club? Doesn't it take time to find a club? Wouldn't there be a second set of keys in the house to open the car door. Come to think of it why were all the car doors locked in the first place? Why was it the neighbour that called 911 and not Elin? Very bizarre stuff!
I love Tiger, but if this truly was just an accident, there would be no need for these statements from him and his lawyers. How the hell does one get injured backing out of a driveway at less than 30 miles per hour? And why smash in the rear window? Doesn't add up. Sorry Tiger.
It's nobody's business unless there is domestic violence, which there might be here. It needs to be investigated for this reason. The current story makes no sense. It would be a more plausible story that his wife came after him with a golf club and that's why he tore out of the driveway and crashed.

Yeah, right. We are supposed to believe his 115-pound wife broke out the back window of an ESCALADE and drug him out across 2 seats? I have a friend with an Escalade who had a car hit him head on going 65 and they all walked away without a scratch. I don't really care what Tiger and his wife were doing or not or if they were fighting, but if they make any insurance claims and lie about it, it becomes a problem. I imagine he has enough money to make this all go away.
Sounds like he cheated but if he is gonna do the right thing by his family then good for him. This is a private matter and should be between them not all of us!

Sure. My thoughts are quite simple. He's lying. He's definitely trying to do damage control so his wife won't beat his ass again.

Now the tabloid's will really go after him so he can kiss his private life good bye. He kept putting off the detective's trying to get a statement. By law he does not have to talk to them because this is a traffic accident but if there was nothing to hide then why is he to good to talk to them? This guy is a ass whole and if his wife is smart she will take him for all he is worth and send his ass a packing to New York so he can be with the tramp he was obviously with to begin with!!
What a SAD situation. DOMESTIC ABUSE IS NEVER RIGHT! If this was the other way around and Elin was the one with the injuries the media would be going nuts! I feel bad that they have to live tis situation out in the public eye, but sometimes that is the price celebrities have to pay for being famous. The truth WILL eventually come out, and I hope Elin is held accountable for what she did!
