It's that time of year again!
El Lay's Hollywood Blvd is closed off to accommodate a parade that entertains few, but there's a very special guest to help with the festivities in 2009!
Soap veteran Susan Lucci will serve as grand marshall in the Hollywood Christmas Parade on Sunday.
"She specifically was selected because as Los Angeles knows, the motion picture and television industry is struggling economically as many businesses are and her show is moving from New York back to Los Angeles," said parade chairman Michel Papadaki.
All My Children may have moved production to El Lay, but we'd like to think our daytime TV watching friends would have kinder things to say!
