According to the Nielsen ratings, Ugly Betty hit an all-time low this past Friday!!!

The former hit show drew a sad 3.3 million viewers and even got beat by a Leno repeat!

Yikes!

It's only a matter of time before Betty flies the ABC coop!!

      They really need to switch this show back to thursdays!!! I love the show, but I wont cancel friday night plans to watch tv. Great show WRONG NIGHT!

      um, you might want to point out that the HIGHEST rated show of the night had like 5.5-million viewers … it was friday night of the holiday weekend, dude! that being said, ABC murdered Betty by dumping it on Fridays.

      They need to change the day. I work Fridays but i still watch it on OnDemand. I love this show! Perez you need to start a campaign. There aren't enough shows where Latinas are the main stars. At least shows that don't involve them showing off all their goodies.

      Ugly betty just the same as Gossip Girl has almost become an online show. I'm in England and both shows are behind here than they are shown in the US, so looooads of people just watch them/download them online! they cant stop making ugly betty its freeeeaking awesome!

      The show is funny but Friday is a crap timeslot. It isn't the shows fault. If it were on another night of the week it would have better ratings. I agree that Perez should start a campaign to save it!

THEY NEED TO MOVE IT BACK TO THURSDAYS, WHICH THEY WILL NEVER DO BC THEY REPLACED IT WITH THAT BORING SHOW BEFORE GREY'S AND PRIVATE PRACTICE, SOOOOO THEY NEED TO PUT IT IN EASTWICKS TIMESLOT ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AND I BETTTTT THEY'D GET THEIR RATINGS BACK!

      Maybe because some affiliates didn't even air the episode? DC and Baltimore preempted it. In DC they showed some crappy movie and aired Ugly Betty on Sunday at 3pm. WTF?

      Betty has the worst ratings/cancel index for the network. That it is cancelled is already a done deal in all but name. ABC has already dealt with Hank and Eastwick, but still has to deal with The Forgotten as well as some other shows in varying levels of jeopardy/recovery including Flashforward, Castle, and the middle.
      For all of you who CRY, they killed Betty by moving it to Friday. Betty was on it's last breath when it arrived on Friday. Thursday is not the cure. Last year on Thursday it went from a top 25 show with 12 million viewers to not even a top 50 show with less than 6 million viewers.
      The only remaining question is whether they will stop it mid season and then let it finish out things mid summer like they did with Pushing Daisies last year or let it keep going or even try a time slot change.

      If the networks would leave the shows where people know they are. It's all about people's schedules. They don't get that. Certain areas of the countries on differing nights are out at school, social, or work events. Especially if you have a child in sports. Your schedule for viewing TV is VERY LIMITED. The shows that are HITS are HITS because that is the time that people are available to watch the show. HELLO, NETWORKS. Wake up and leave the schedule in place. Don't expect already overextended Americans to follow shows around that are HITS until they are moved to a different night. Leave it alone. PUT BETTY BACK ON THURSDAYS AT 8PM EST.

      Last week in Arkansas, they didn't even show Ugly Betty, so what the hell are you talking about? It was under my influence because of Thanksgiving they didn't show the show that week.

      There moving Ugly Betty to Wednesday nights its taking Eastwick's timeslot when it finishes its run.

      Move the show back to its original time slot and beef up the writing and it will be right back on top. ABC, for some reason, wants to kill this show and I really don't know why. It's a shame and just another mistake in a loooong line of mistakes ABC is making….

      This season is just as good as the first season. Thankfully they ended that annoying Pheonix, Level 5 storyline. If it does get cancelled after this season, it will least leave with artistic grace. x

      The show is called UGLY Betty, why did they try to glam her up?? What happened to the other fashions? Wihlamina is now the only funny one and they've cut down her lines. Don't mess with what works.

      It was already doing poorly and with this past week being Black Friday I expected lower ratings. Would suck if Betty is cancelled as it was just getting interesting again. They screwed it by moving it to Friday. The ratings last year weren't that bad compared to what some shows that are still on this year are getting. Go Betty! to mid week.

      Why do they keep moving this show around? I remember they even took it off for a few weeks to put on some other shit show they were trying to plug. WTF are they thinking? The show is good but people don't have time to be following it around. If it weren't for my DVR I wouldn't even know they moved it to Friday. I just would have thought they had no new episodes due to thanksgiving and the holidays.

      Its the time slot — I'm pretty sure most viewers of this show are female between 21-35 and most of us are Out on the town on a friday night! They seriously need to put it on Mon-Thurs and leave the friday night shows for I dont know…the news? Heh.
