Adam Lambert confessed during a radio interview that he used to be a former chubster saying:
"When I was in high school I was 250 pounds and that creates some stuff…some body image stuff, some confidence issues, and I got a lot of my confidences from validation I got as a performer."
We're glad to see you got yourself in shape Glambert!
Because if you didn't, we probably would have seen you on the Biggest Loser instead of American Idol.

Finally ans interesting interview question! You can tell that he struck truth on this one. Folks who are so focused on the outside are always compensating.
You can tell that he used to be bigger. He has 2 chins, and his cheeks indicate that he was overweight. Therefore he'll always be a stone's throw from being big again.

I can't believe everyone is down on him for dying his hair or having acne once, when precious Megan Fox and countless other celebrities dye their hair, had acne and get an endless array of plastic surgery to completely alter their face. Fox looked sick before. Adam is doing fine.
I think it's actually a good thing for him to come out and talk about that. Maybe it will motivate some of America's obese teens to get in shape. The mentality of "I can lose some weight and do something with my life" is a good one to promote.
Enough with the mean spirited comments. So what if he used to be fat? There is not one person on the face of this earth who doesn't have some image issue, valid or not. At least he is doing interviews, getting his music out there while the rest of us sit here and either support him or bash him. Like him or not, fat or not, he is living his life and we should live and let live.
