Christopher Walken Is Heading To Broadway!

wenn5285570cw.jpg

This sounds right up his alley!

Christopher Walken will be starring in the black comedy A Behanding In Spokane written by Martin McDonagh. He'll take on the role of a man looking for his missing hand.

Previews begin on February 15th at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre and will open on March 4th.

Also starring in the play will be Anthony Mackie, Sam Rockwell and Zoe Kazan.

Sounds like a solid cast to us!

Jeeeeesh. can you imagine lookin like that and pursuing a career in show biz? haaha, about as unthinkable as Barbara Walters having a huge speech impediment and going after a career in public broadcasting. crazy. this guy is perhaps a good actor, but he looks like a ghoul.

  14. 14

huge fan of christopher, but he looks like he's heading to knock on deaths door instead.

  25. 25

    MORE COWBELL!!!

  26. 26

Martin McDonagh?! Awesome! I was in a play he directed once, he's amazing - very hands on with his cast, always produces some excellent results. With a cast and director like that, no way they can go wrong. I am interested to see where this play is set, though - he seems to be in his element writing about rural Ireland.

  27. 27

He's so amazing. It's sad to see him aging….

  28. 28

holy shit…he could play frankenstein without any makeup in that photo. YIKES!

  29. 29

    Zooicks

  30. 30

    Damn how old is he?

  31. 31

Darn good actor. But he does look creepy! He'd make a good vampire.

  32. 32

Definitely want tix to see this - saw him on Broadway in James Joyce's "The Dead" and he was fantastic and this time we get Sam Rockwell with him..

  33. 33

    Great actor, but scary-lookin!

  34. 34

    I am SO seeing this.

  35. 35

CW was SUCH a dream in his day. Well, at least he doesn't need makeup to get the creep out going.

  36. 36

*lights a black candle at the altar of the dark lord known as Walken & prays he wont smite me down with his eyes*

  37. 37

It would be more accurate to state Back to Broadway as he has numerous stage credits to his name.
I have always found his speech pattern distracting and it seems to get worse as he ages, then again look at Jimmy Stewart, Kate Hepburn, and Cary Grant they all had peculiar speech patters/accents as well.

  40. 40

that pic creeps me the fuck out!

  41. 41

He looks horrible here, he looked great in Hairspray, I wonder what happened..

    42

Re: MRS. JOSH HOLLOWAY – That's iffy. Look her up on Wiki and down to 'Death', and try a couple of other bio sources. An accident is far more likely, given all. It could just be a duck instead of a zebra.

  43. 43

Looks just like the guy from the Indiana Jones Last Crusade flick who doesn't drink out of the holy grail everlasting life cup!!

  44. @v@ says – reply to this

    44

He's accumulated a nice body of work.

  45. 45

Christopher Walker Cullen!! This guy has mad Vampire looks here. That is except for the freaky botox, waxy looking forehead. What is GOING ON?? Give him some red Cullen contacts to finish the look.

  46. 46

I like his acting. He could plat Riff- Raff on the Rocky Horror show, though!

  47. 47

Wow, you're all so fucking vapid, who gives a shit what he looks like. I cannot wait to see this play, Martin McDonagh is my favorite playwright, he always has a beautiful blend of amazingly intense drama mashed with the darkest, sickest humor I've ever seen. Plus I'm excited to see his first play set in America
