Just six months ago they were only at 35 Kindles per 100 physical books sold.

Okay I admit I'd like one, but am not going to pay the price. I can get lots of good books at my local second hand store, most going for $2.99. But sure, if someone gave me a Kindle which isn't going to happen, I'd gladly take it.

I just dl'd the free kindle software to my Ipod touch & purchased 2 books. It rocks! I love reading them on my ipod - I can select the font size, it isn't a pain the butt at all, I can read in bed without a light, my arm doesn't fall asleep as it does when holding a large book. I love kindle on the ipod & its FREE.
Perez Stupid book is already downloadable for free. Just google" perez hilton book for Kindle" their is also a kindle app program for your computer that is free. The book is on that one also…..the book is fucking stupid. I read ten pages of it and fell asleep….it is just recycled garbage….download it for free

As a society, we are very much into instant gratification of whatever feeling, desire, or want that we have.
This, as many people who really think about it see why…Amazon n B & N are just doing a very good job in marketing this thing. Think about it though.
If you have to wait a day, a week, or a month for a sequel to a bestselling book…so what?
Anyone who is into Twilight Saga for instance knows that he can take many months between one book and the next…it creates anticipation.
This is oddly enough a good thing because it whets the appetite for more remarkable characterization and an engaging storyline. This is in direct opposition to gorging yourself, and being left with that empty feeling when you realize there's no more to be had. It makes us more selfish people and will help us lose our boundaries on self-control and impulses. Just my 2 cents.

Too bad this book isn't AVAILABLE on Kindle because the publisher hasn't made it so. Also, people don't purchase Kindles because they are lazy or lack impulse control. They're more environmentally responsible and Kindle books are cheaper.

These are just maj handy for people who travel or move a lot - I spend half my life on a plane and I don't want to lug around a friggin train case of novels, best. invention. ever.
I have the free Kindle app for my iPhone and wouldn't trade it for anything. I gave my iPod touch to my 77 year old mom who loves reading her books (we like the same books). It's lighter than a book (she has bad hands) and it's backlite, unlike the Kindle. I travel a lot and I can now gave hundreds of books on one tiny device. Did I mention it weighs a couple of ounces?
This is the best invention ever!
Perez, if you made your book available on the Kindle, I'd buy it. Hard copy? I don't buy paper any longer. Sorry.
