Grammy's Golden Girls! And The Nominees Are….

Yes! Yes! Yes! And yes!!!!
Although she was wrongly snubbed in the Best New Artist category, the Lady Miz GaGa walked away with SIX nominations when the Grammy Award noms were announced Wednesday night.
The Bad Romance singer is up for the major awards of the evening, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
GaGa faces some stiff competition from Beyonce, who was nominated for a very very impressive TEN awards!
Not to be outdone, the lovely Taylor Swift got herself eight nominations, including all the major categories too.
Take that Kanye!
Other notable Grammy nominees include: Katy Perry, Adele, Pink, MGMT, Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Jason Mraz and The Ting Tings.

Man I'm sick of Taylor Swift being nominated in the same categories as Gaga & Beyonce.
Of course you're going to talk more about Gaga even though Taylor Swift got more nominations then here. Perez, we get that you like Gaga. I like her too. But the amount of crap you post about her is making everyone hate her!
I DON'T SEE THE JONAS BROTHERS WTF! anyway, congrats to lady gaga! she totally deserve it
MY God can Lady GaGa please cut the freak shit out already…
So in OTHER words…..
1. Beyonce
2. Taylor Swift
and last place goes to….
3. Lady Gaga
GO GAGA!!!!!!!!!!!
I am happy for Beyonce (10! WOW), Lady Gaga, and even though I am not a taylor swift fan I am happy for her. And Maxwell with 6 nominations, WOW!
Go Death Cab and MGMT!
Silversun Pickups got nominated for best new artist? They've been known for years now! Much longer than GaGa. They could've should've but didn't change a rule so Gaga can get best new artist
Congrats to them! (:
I'm hoping that Lady Gaga wins at least ONE grammy.
5 nominations for Gaga!!!
beyonce BOOOO!!
GAGA,BRITNEY,TAYLOR,BLACK EYED PEAS,MGMT, & KINGS OF LEON YES!!!!!!!
Its not a snub if its in the rules.
Best Dance Recording is a toughie.
I love all the artists listen on there. Anyway, cant wait to see who wins what. Maybe your wifey might even get one, I'm secretly hoping she does.
All the bitching was for nothing, perez. She got her due. I hope Beyonce wins them all though. She's gotten fucked over by these fan-voted awards (VMAs, AMAs) where all the tweens are voting for Taylor Swift-who is talented but no Beyonce.
taylor swift should say "this one is for Kayne shave it i have 7 left"
Gaga? The bitch ain't new so get that knot out of your panties and get over it. If you have already been nominated once, you cant be nominated the following year as a new artist. Just get over and shut your fat ass mouth up.
Re: OliChrist – because SHE HAS ALREADY BEEN NOMINATED BEFORE, YOU CANNOT BE NOMINATED FOR BEST NEW ARTIST IF YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED A NOMINATION THE YEAR BEFORE
AHH DAVE MATTHEWS BAND!!!!
Im glad Gagas nominated and she better win at least one of them!
Good for all of them! If only Fame Monster was released earlier it could have been a real award winner! Speechless, Bad Romance, and Alejandro are really great songs.
Why are Taylor and Beyonce in the Best Pop Female category?
I want Beyonce and Kings of Leon to OWN the Grammy's this year, they both deserve them and made fantastic albums. GaGa made some catchy songs as did Taylor Swift but they all start to sound the same and there is little depth to them.
Beyonce's father is part of the comittee, of course she got the most noms. That woman is such a joke, she's dull as fuck. Gaga wasn't snubbed either, those ARE THE RULES, idiot, why did they submit her last year then? She was already nominated, she can't be nominated for Best new artist if she was nominated the year before, sorry, for the grammys she's no longer new.
1) Beyonce 10
2) Taylor Swift 8
3) Black Eyed Peas 6
–Maxwell 6
–Kanye West 6
4) David Guetta 5
–Jay-Z 5
–Lady Gaga 5
Why is there not a picture Taylor? Beyonce-10 Taylor Swift-8 Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta-5
"Take that Kanye"??? You should have written: "Thanks Kanye"! That's all because of him if Taylor Swift is nominated in many categories.
TEAM GAGA!
Why is Taylor Swift on the list for EVERYTHING!
Like she won an AMA against MICHEAL FUCKING JACKSON!
What kind of BS is this!
Re: Genn – I am psyched The Pet Shop Boys were nominated in that category.
*CUE* THAT DIXIE KID MAKING 150 RETARDED COMMENTS, AND THE MADONNA FANBOY MAKING ANOTHER 1000 ABOUT HOW THERES SOMETHING WRONG WITH LADY GAGA.
She was nominated last year! Which automatically disqualifies her for the adjective "new". Honestly.
Keith should win country album, but Taylor's gonna win. Seirously, love her, but what's she gonna do after all of this?
YAY SILVERSUN PICKUPS!!!! I love MGMT as well but i love the silversun pickups more!!!
since when have the grammy's become 'the let's nominate people who can't actually sing awards'?
seriously? taylor swift and the black eyed peas??! i'm pretty sure neither have ever actually sung well live. BEP was awful at the nomination show tonight and taylor swift's CMA performance was pretty much the definition of a trainwreck.
yikes. really, if either win anything the grammys will have lost all of my respect.
Jay-Z was robbed! How is his album not nominated but 2 of his songs are up for best song? Thats just beyond!
All of the country artists and songs nominated are amazing. Congrats to everyone!
GO GAGA
how come she isnt listed as writer?
Before that Dixie Whale Lady gets in here Gaga got the big 3:Album, Song, Record, as well as Dance recording and Dance Album. Really that is most of what she was eligible for because of new artist Grammy rules, and two categories where she missed out Pop Female Vocal and Pop Album. Hopefully such a showing and a well poised harpoon will keep the whale lady away.
slayerrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!
Best new artist? Lady Gagas management fucked that one up for her. They should have never submitted Lady Gaga for the career-making, oh-so-coveted best dance recording award last year, in which Gaga's "Just Dance" lost to Daft Punk's
kelly Clarkson nominated for pop vocal album
Hope she wins!!
Congrats to gaga taylor and beyonce..love em all!!
Go Kelly Clarkson!
Circus by Britney Spears needed to be on this list!!
Sounds like a snoozefest. We've all seen Gaga, Swift and Beyonce on TV too much lately at these self congratulatory awards shows.
Is it just me, or is standard commercial music just really unexciting and mediocre??? (Especially in the Pop/Rock categories).
SHUT UP ABOUT LADY GAGA!!!!!!!
UGH! Totally sick of Taylor Swift, but keep our Gaga news going!! I love how close the two of you are! and I always read your tweets, especially about our girl!
Re: #FollowFriday – finally someone with sense. yea, she her cd was selling like hot cakes before kanye, but watching her was like watching paint dry.
WHITNEY WAS COMPLETELY SHUT OUT OF THE GRAMMYS NOMS!! WTF! I EXPECTED AT LEAST ONE IN BEST RNB ALBUM OR FEMALE RNB VOCALS BUT INSTEAD THEY HAVE SOME NO NAMERS IN THERE. THE GRAMMYS HAVE SNUBBED WHITNEY HOUSTON. LAME AND SHAME.
how did beyonce get more nominations than maxwell?
Re: titismack – I know, the DixieNormas person is so annoying. I think they actually have a crush on GaGa
Nowhere on the list: Sliimy. As it should be. Another failed venture, Perez.
Black Eyed Peas for an album of the year nomination? Are they kidding? They are a cartoon band, if that. All of the multiple nominations are ridiculous, and it really strains credibility and relevance. I don't think I have ever seen a sorrier list of nominees. And can someone tell me why Perez insists on spelling it GaGa, when the Lady herself spells it Gaga?
Dear Sweetpiece, I saw your message, thank you for you kind thoughts and words, but I'm sorry I just dont roll that way. I know that its confusing for you dealing with two sets of genitalia, but you must decide to be either a woman or a man - you cannot be both. I would say that your best option would be to continuing your affair with your boss. As he's already seen what you've got - its your best chance at acceptance. Good Luck xoxoxo
Gaga delayed her Boston show while the nominees were announced. She even told everyone in the audience about all 5!!! whoohoo!!!
umm does anyone else thinks its beyond amazing that taylor swift got 8 nominations? She shouldn't have gotten ANY. Girl is a lying, fake, who cannot carry a tune! I know people are going to hate on me for writing this, but seriously. She doesn't write her own music, thats a lie and she is so fixed in the studio its a joke. As for Beyonce and Gaga - Love them! THEY are talented and real.
Re: lapaige – I know what you mean. Taylor is so pitchy live. And the Black Eyed Peas just majorly suck live.
Go go GaGa! Too bad "Bad Romance" wasn't nominated for anything. That's the song that got me hooked.
Re: lapaige – i agree with you completely!
well im sure taylor swift will win everything she's nominated for. or her fans in the balcony will start screaming and crying.
im sorry but, gaga doesnt have a chance in hell against beyonce and taylor. its just its so obvious her and taylor are going to win big. i like gaga, i like beyonce, taylor, well i like her but her winning everything isnt really doing anything for me
Kings Of Leon…their sex is on fire
Yeah Yeah Yeahs got nominated for alternative music album! Awesome!
ALRIGHT SO IT'S NOT A MAJOR MAJOR CATEGORY BUT IT STILL COUNTS! BRITNEY WAS NOMINATED FOR WOMANIZER IN THE BEST DANCE RECORDING! LOVE HER SO MUCH AND SHE IS AMAZING! HAPPY BIRTHDAY B AND CONGRATS!
Re: thefear2 – Her father is on a committee of 150 people that decide the nominations. I think that means his vote makes up .67% of the total. The first part of your post is such bullshit.
todays state of music is incredibly horrible…look at that list ugh
I love Taylor Swift, but her winning all these awards she's been winning is getting annoying!! Hopefully Beyonce will burst her award winning bubble!! Beyonce is better than Taylor & GaGa put together!!!
I'm glad the Yeah Yeah Yeah's album "It's Blitz!" Got nominated for at least something. That was the coolest fucking album this year. Overall this is a pretty sorry list. Don't understand how Taylor Swift and the Black Eyed Pea's shit gets nominated for album of the year over Yeah Yeah Yeahs and a bunch of other great ones as well. Stupid bullshit. The Grammy's have turned into a teenage girl popularity concert.
GO GAGAAAA!
GIMME GIMME GAGA!! WE WANT GAGA!!
Re: Soda-Pop-Lover – I agree with you! GaGa's songs make me want to dance and sing, and I don't care if it's in public. Beyonce is fierce. They both sing amazing live. All while Tayor sings horrible and pitchy live. She sings about stuff kids like, what happens when she's 30 and still singing about being 15?
"Although she was wrongly snubbed in the Best New Artist category" HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH OH WELL!!!!
Britney for Best Dance Song!!!!
Kelly Clarkson totally got snubbed. Only one nomination??? Hello did nobidy hear "Already Gone"???
You mean, take that Kanye AND Beyonce.
MGMT!!!
Re: thefear2 –
"dull as fuck"???? I've never had a dull fuck!!!!
BY FAR the most talented group on that list was DMB
Re: titismack – I know. I about passed out when they said she won. SERIOUSLY!? TAYLOR SWIFT OVER MICHAEL JACKSON!
She cannot sing people!
She can write songs, but thats about it.
AMAZEBALLLSSSSS
Damn–I didn't think this list was ever going to end. Glad to see the Kings of Leon on it though.
Oh what a fucking tragedy that Gaga couldn't get nominated as best new artist when she got buttloads of other nominations. Snore.
Um a picture of TAYLOR SWIFT should be up there next to Beyonce not you CaCa friend. Stop being so biased thats why I only come on your website once in awhile now not like I use to everyday. Your starting to suck Perez, such musicians dicks for friends. Taylors going to win a lot poor girls peaking at 19. I hope she can make another album as killer as this one.
want gaga and kings of leon to win YAY
Taylor Swift?! Seriously, Taylor Swift?! I mean for things like the VMAs I totally get she has supportive fans and shit, so she deserved those awards. BUT A GRAMMY?! All of her songs sound exactly the same and are about as deep as a pudding cup! She doesn't even COMPARE to Gaga and Beyonce! They deserve categories of their own. But in my opinion they'd be tied. I've been such a huge Britney/Christina fan since I was nine. However, I just put everything together right now and thought about it… Gaga/Beyonce blows Britney/Christina out of the water!
THIS IS A JOKE.TAYLOR SWIFT DOES NOT HAVE THE VOCAL ABILITY TO BE NOMINATED FOR BEST FEMALE POP VOCAL.
your bitch might win an award for ugliest face in pop history, but that`s it.
laddy caca sucks!
Why is Taylor being nominated in ALL of these categories.
They aren't quite exciting.
why the FUCK is ker hilson nominated?
I use to like Taylor Swift but now I AM SICK TO DEATH OF HER! Stop the damn pity party already.
if taylor wins any awards….
slit my wrists please.
lady gag looks about 65 years old in this picture
Taylor Swift is for the people that like from the heart music, Gaga is for people that like dance music, I like both so this is hard. I would like to see The Crystal Method win.
re: face_time & re: ohjessicadoes
NO FREAKING KIDDING! I am so estatic that the yeah yeah yeahs are on the list. THEY BETTER WIN. I want you all to know that I am a die-hard lady gaga fan and think her music is the greatest thing since sliced bread… but "It's Blitz" by the yeah yeah yeahs is the best album of the year by far. It beats all the little pop stars… all the R&B stars… it's pure GENIUS!
Go Yeah Yeah Yeahs! Go Gaga…. (and mgmt because they are awesome too)
Kelly or brit brit better win best dance.
Bruce better win motion picture. Danny Elfman better win for BB.
Great noms for the Country categories.
TAYLOR doesn't deserve any words for her limited range and horrid live voice, and 5th grade level writing. You may like her but she isn't good enough for any of the awards and neither is miss Katy Perry.
Though I hate Gaga she has a great voice, no denying it, at least she has talent unlike Taylor. Taylor only won awards because of her 6th grade fans.Hopefully the awards go to those who truly deserve recognition.
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA- Druggie Whitney got snubbed! HAHAHAHAHAHA
Britney, GaGa and Madonna all in the same category…my tightvirginhole is torn
Taylor Swift will beat gaga and beyonce for sure
THANK GOD THE GRAMMY ARENT VOTING - ONLINE SHIT. SO THE PROFESSIONALS SEE THE TRUE ARTISTS AND TAYLOR SWIFT DOSNT WIN ALL THE RIDICULOUS SHIT SHE DID WITH THE OTHER CRAPPY SHOWZ!>
Re: fevertotellu – right on! I love Gaga as well. We've got good taste..which I hope will be represented in the winners. good luck!
I know I'm gonna get shit for this but honestly…I AM SO SICK OF TAYLOR SWIFT. I'm tired of her little teeny bopper fans and her ALWAYS being perceived as the poor little victim because of Kanye West. She's a sucky singer and a mediocre songwriter. Beyonce is by far the most deserving of these awards. And if not her than Lady Gaga who can at least sing.
Britney got a nom for best dance Recording! Happy Birthday Britney!!!
Go Britney!!! You got the same Grammy for 'Toxic', you sure can get it for 'Womanizer'!!!! LOVE YOU SO MUCH, QUEEN OF POP!!!
