U-G-L-Y, Betty Gets An Alibi Helping Hand

ABC has found some mercy for Ugly Betty.

The once flagship comedy show on the network has been suffering HARD due to their move to Friday nights. It's not like they couldn't see it coming though!

However, due to the strong following and a vacancy in their Wednesday night line-up, Ugly Betty might be getting back on track.

As we mentioned, the show Eastwick is heading south and the open spot behind breakout comedy hits Modern Family and Cougar Town will now be the new home for Betty and Co.

Hopefully, this will mean a big boost in ratings. They sure as hell need it!

Man. I LOVE Eastwick. Not the best show but still fun. Of course I am still mourning Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone. Not a fan of Ugly Betty.

Yeah! I love this show, I never watch on Friday, but DVR so I can watch on Sunday in bed.

My friend and I like ugly betty but they changed it to fridays and my best friend won't go hang out on those days just to watch the show…but that isn't stopping me…if the shows on a crappy day I'm just going to watch it on the internet…who needs television anymore seriously!

Seriously Wednesday? Hopefully not the same time slot as Glee. If ABC execs are that stupid they deserve to be fired, I gurantee those shows appeal to the same demographic.

I will repeat again for all. Ugly Betty last year, on Thursday at 8pm, started the season with 12 million viewers and was in the top 20. It finished the season on Thursday at 8pm with less than 6 million viewers and out of the top 50.
It earned its spot on Friday because of last years failure. This year on Friday at 8pm it has gone from 5 to 4 to 3.3 million viewers.
I watch the show out of loyalty and I wish it luck at its new time slot but 10pm has never been fertile ground for comedies. My prediction stands, cancelled by season's end.
Modern Family is just brilliant BTW.
