ABC Making Artists Sign Glambert-Inspired Contracts!
In the aftermath of Adam Lambert's AMA performance, Disney/ABC Television Group wants to make sure that they never face this sort of controversy again.
So, in order for them to put the kabosh on boys getting frisky with each other, company president Anne Sweeney is taking steps to ensure that artists are contractually obligated to have their live performances match their rehearsals.
"We certainly don't want to suppress artistry at any level, but we also have to be very cognizant of who our audience is," said Sweeney.
Riiiight.

If you don't agree with Perez's hard-line, extreme agenda, he labels you. That's all he has; it's all he is. Most people who complained, and this includes many GAYS, said they cannot condone simulation of oral sex on tv,whether it is being performed by GAYS OR HERTEROS. ummmmm how the hell s that discrimination? ABC is owned by Disney and they have stricter rules than other channels. DUH! I have a five year old brother and he watches ABC all the time, I'm all for gay marriage and everything else but I'm with the FCC, they have RULES for a fricken reason. Get over your self, Disney is a kid friendly place, how you you feel if someone was displaying oral sex stuff right in front of your kid or baby brother.
It's not about being a homophobe - it's about knowing your audience. You can bet Jay-Z's performance in 'the club' is very different than his 'Black Tie Suit' performance he did with Alisha Keyes. Adam Lambert has to learn it's not just what you do, but also 'where' you do it. A lot of kids and teens watched him and follow him and his performance was not appropriate -evn though it was 11 pm. Grow up Adam and tailor your performances accordingly. You're talented - just sing. There will be a time and place for your explicit antics.
