This is a first look at Catherine Zeta Jones as Desiree Armfeldt in the anticipated revival of A Little Night Music.
Catherine will officially make her Broadway debut on December 13th alongside Tony-award-winner Angela Lansbury and we are eager to hear Catherine's version of Send in the Clowns.
It might make or break her Broadway career as far as we are concerned.

She's HOT! I think she'll do well in any venture. I have always liked her and I wish her all the best.

I don't understand her casting from a character breakdown point of view, but unfortunately Broadway has become full of tv and movie stars. Unfortunately, most of the time they end up sucking (for example: John Stamos and Gina Gershon who were torn apart by critics recently). I hope she doesn't end up getting a poor review because I like her as a film actress. Oh, and Perez, do you have any authority of broadway musicals WHATSOEVER? Just because you are gay does NOT mean you know anything about musical theater, so please stop pretending that you do. I doubt you have even listened to the cast recording of this musical before.

Saw this in previews on Tuesday. She OWNS the role. She looks like she's having a ball. The whole cast is great.

I saw this show already the day after thanksgiving. She's wonderful in it, as is the rest of the cast. The only thing I didn't like were the sets. They weren't as ornate as I expected them to be.

I have no doubt she'll be great, she excells at musical theatre. in my humble opinion.
She has a fantastic voice! I have no doubt that she's going to do a great job.
Catherine has a Wonderful voice!! Don't worry about her. She'll WOW them!!
We wish her luck as her movie career seems to be well less than prolific.

do you know ANYTHING about catherine zeta jones, perez? how about how she STARRED in 42nd street on broadway in London when she was 18? and how about chicago? this show is going to be amazing.
She started out studying musical theatre and did this for much of her early career, before switching to TV and film.
"We" should be a bit more informed before putting the knife in. She's a pro on stage and will have no problem whatsoever.
