i haven't watched any of these shows during their original run because i'm not old. all of the show are old as f**k.

    8. 8

Re: ATB72889 – haha i think i was the only 7th grader who watched friends at that time.

    9. 9

YEAH AND WE'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU SET GAY RIGHTS BACK 20 YEARS.

      IMBECILE !

    10. 10

Proud to say: NONE!!!! I only watched a couple winning American Idol performances on Youtube, and the first Survivor when Richard Hatch or whatever was his name won (back then a gay pride subject).

    11. 11

      honky city

    12. 12

      Very few

    13. 13

ughhhh friends will never get old (L) Still watch it so i guess I'm part of the 52.5 mil:)

    14. 14

      I never watch friends

    15. 15

I definitely watched the Friends episode… like everyone else obviously! …

The Grey's Anatomy bomb episode was one of the best ever…

and then I went back and looked it up… that episode of ER was the episode where Carter (Noah Wyle) and Lucy (Kelly Martin) had been attacked and where Lucy died :O( so yeah… I watched that one too.

I doubt I watched any of the others (maybe Raymond).

    16. 16

PEREZ IS THE UGLIEST, NASTIEST PERSON I'VE EVER COME ACROSS. INSTEAD OF TALKIN ABOUT PPL, GO TAKE A GOOD LOOK IN THE MIRROR YOU MUT!!! I WOULDN'T READ YOUR STUPID BOOK IF SOMEONE GAVE IT TO ME, I'D USE IT FOR A POOP SCOOPER! YOU LACK MORALES!

    17. 17

Hard too believe this decade is almost coming too a close :(

    18. 18

      Spin City?? what?

    19. 19

      Spin City?!?
      *
I can tell you I've never even watched an episode of that show. I like Michael J. Fox and all… I believe Meredith Baxter Birney played his mom in one episode of that show. Anyhow, that show never really caught my attention. Heather Locklear and Denise Richards were on that show too right, with Charley Sheen?

    20. 20

Re: ATB72889 – so what are you, like 10?!

    21. 21

I must be unique because I haven't watched any of those shows.

    22. 22

it's not the end of the decade. the last day of this decade will take place on Dec 31, 2010. just like the beginning of the decade started on Jan 1, 2001.
the easiest way to demonstrate this is hands - everyone has 10 fingers, starts w/ 1 and ends w/ 10. they may form a decade. just like that, each decade starts w/ the year that ends in number 1 and ends w/ the year that ends in number 0.

    23. 23

5 of these shows were in 2000! This decade did not start until January 1st 2001. Who is the moron who came out with this list?

    24. 24

      Only Friends.
Why is not House / Ellen on the list?

    25. 25

informative… thanks perez… good give kudos when its deserved..not that you care ..lol

    26. 26

Re: ashleygirl31 – He's not ugly! And there's way more filthy than Perez. I'm not saying he's an angel but you're way exaggerating. Go walk in the bad streets of Los Angeles and tell me if you meet nasty.

Is this list some kind of joke? Where is this list from? I find it hard to believe that Seinfeld isn't on it.

    28. 28

We stayed up til 3 am to watch that Friends episode as soon as aired on AFN in Germany, where we were stationed at the time :) Still watch the re-runs… and wasn't that episode of Spin City the first one after MJF announced his parkinson's? Either way, awesome show, it was really funny.

    29. 29

Re: MsFlower Time is not tangible. Therefore tangible objects cannot be used. That aside, if that logic was true, the millennium didn't start until 2001, BUT, it's not like year 00 doesn't exist. When it's January 14th, do you say 2 weeks into the year or a month and 2 weeks because - months doesn't exist? Re: ch5ris0305 – I think before you start slinging around names, you might just want to actually know what you are talking about. For an odd example - in gaming, levels 01-09 are considered TIER 1. Levels 10-19 are considered TIER 2 and so on.

    30. 30

I've watched Friends, American Idol.. And ocasionally Grey's Anatomy and Everybody Loves Raymond

    31. 31

I haven't seen any of those shows! I watch The Sopranos, True Blood, American Justice, Cold Case Files, Chef Academy, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and the Colbert Report!

    32. 32

friends came on in the late 90's

    33. 33

WTF? and Seinfeld wasn't on this list?

    34. 34

      >b>What? Strangers with Candy from Comedy Central with "Jerri Black" did not make to this list??????

    35. 35

OMG!! I remember that ER episode…. Carter and Lucy- what a crazy cliffhanger that was . I was on a week long camp with some students and all of the teachers snuck inside because all of us couldn't miss that episode- and we ended up seeing it using a grainy black and white TV with rabbit ears… :) ! I can't believe that's #4 though..wow! :)

    36. 36

What? Strangers with Candy from Comedy Central with "Jerri Black" did not make to this list??????

    37. 37

Re: MsFlower – THANK YOU!!! I'm so tired of people getting this wrong.

Great explanation (fingers)… too bad no one is going to understand it.

    38. 38

Re: imsoregistered – Don't you remember simple math from elementary school? Year 00 does/did not exist. When adding years B.C. and A.D., you subtract one, since there is/was no Year 0.

January 14th is 2 weeks into the new year… January 1st marks a new year. 1st… see. 2010 is the end of the decade… the new one starts at 2011.

The fact that you argue this is blowing my mind.

    39. 39

i've never watched one episode of friends and i'm glad.

    43. 43

GO Grey's Anatomy! Still one of the best shows on tv today!!!

    44. 44

for people asking abiut seinfeld. show ended in 1998 i doubt re-runs get that many views. i know no one cares but in my opinion seinfeld is a boring ass show!

    45. 45

Friends is classic. I watch reruns and it still gets a laugh out of me (:

    46. 46

I agree with everyone about seinfeld!? how is that even possible! that show is STILL more popular than friends

friends was good when i was 12 and was a snob

and lost!? wheres lost? the best show of all time!!! its held the top prime-time spot in its catigory/time slot for years? its on lots of lists anyways, maybe not top 10 on this one (god knows why, the mass amount of people who watch tv are simple minded anyways)

p.s. this years survivor is waaaay better! too funny

    47. 47

Re: Mrs Chace Crawford – i'm 20. all of the shows ended like 5-9 years ago, that more than a quarter of my life.

    48. 48

    49. 49

Re: Maio – Yeah i am pretty sure that is what the other 52.5 million people thought…
Re: lovers – yeah and it was so successful it didn't end until 2004, the series finale had 52.5 million viewers
Re: CruellaDeVil – yeah be proud. oh just wondering how do you like living under a rock?

    53. 53

    54. 54

    55. 55

      all of them. omg. ha!

    56. 56

i love friends ! but where is house md ????

    57. 57

I was pregnant during Survivor 1 and I often call my daughter my Survivor Baby cause I was just GLUED to that. I even dreamed about the show the first night I saw it. I still watch to this day tho it's certainly not as much fun. There needs to be a celebrity Survivor by now. I remember Reese Witherspoon wanted to be on it. Wonder if she still feels that way??

    58. 58

Okay seriously… because it's annoying me. To all those who are going on about how the year 2000 isn't in this decade. Technically speaking, a "decade" is any period of time lasting 10 years… so even if you were correct, which you're not, the year 2000 would still have fallen within the last decade.

Also… to those who say the decade began Jan. 1 2001 and ends Dec. 31 2010… that's not a decade… that's a nonade. That's only 9 years. And then if the next one begins in 2011 and ends in 2020… still 9 years.

Your math isn't working. It's like counting a baby's infancy, or time - NOT FINGERS (that's dumb). The decade began on January 1, 2000 and will end December 31, 2009. 10 years. Count them up. It's just like if you start at noon and count to 8:00 — if you start counting at 1… that's only 7 hours. You HAVE to count the hour between noon and 1 as well. Just like in infancy. A baby's life doesn't begin at 1 year… it begins at 0 and there's a whole year between zero and 1. IMAGINE THAT.
Before 2000, every decade began with a 0 and ended with a 9. The 50's, the 60's, th 90's. It's no different now.

    59. 59

      Friends and American Idol!!!!

    60. 60

I don't know about this whole "Neilson" thing….I mean really, has anyone ever known anyone who has had it? Been a part of it? I think this needs looking in to….just 'sayin….

    61. 61

Zero — Hooray for me! :D

    62. 62

      None, Zero, Nada.

    63. 63

So…..does voting these comments "up" or "down" actually work? I'm not seeing it…

    64. 64

You are such an idiot perez, or whatever idiot that writes this shit. 3rd runner up is 4th place you idiot….how can anyone be so stupid?

    65. 65

Friends is timeless! The mega-hit-for-I-don't-know-why Gossip Girl is so pathetic compared to Friends.

    66. 66

      and of course the OC

    67. 67

      LOL

    68. 68

Weird. The only one I've seen was ER.

    69. 69

Re: Southernchicka – incorrect. read my previous posts for facts. i'm tired of repeating myself.

    70. 70

      Re: snottbubble

I get what you're saying… but it doesn't make it right. Everyone knows *or should know* that the "millenium" technically started in 2001. But that doesn't mean that in reality the year 2000 didn't exist, because obviously it did. If the last decade began on January 1, 1990 and ended on December 31st, 1999 (which it very much did), then this decade (considering the definition of a decade is "a time period of 10 years") began on January 1, 2000, and will end this December. Period. Regardless of what you get when you add BC and AD and subtract whatever. The year 00 existed this century, so we have to count it. Therefore, the past 10 years, or the PAST DECADE will expire on December 31st 2009.

    71. 71

Re: Southernchicka – I hear you… the year 2000 did exist… but you're still incorrect.

Watch the news… they always mention how technically the new decade starts during the '1' year… but the general population doesn't understand that…. so they roll with it.

It bugs me that everyone (media included) lets it slide. It's one of the MANY things dumbing down our latest generations.

    72. 72

      wow none!

    73. 73

      No SEINFELD?????

    74. 74

      ONLY aMERICAN iDOL
