Will Ferrell Wants To Play Simon Cowell In A Movie

LOLs!

Will Ferrell has revealed his dream role — to play the lead part in a Simon Cowell biopic!

"He's become a legend in five years," Ferrell explains. "Nobody knew who he was five years ago and now he's one of the most famous people on TV.

Ferrell thinks he'll make an awesome Cowell because of his experience playing everyone's favorite anchorman from San Diego, Ron Burgundy:

"It wouldn't be that hard for me to play him because I see a lot of Ron Burgundy in Simon Cowell. Like Simon, Ron was the biggest thing on TV, loved himself - they are like long-lost twin brothers separated at birth.

"It would be fun getting into character as well. I would walk along the street and say, 'Hey, you're too fat to be a star,' or go to a concert and shout out to the artist, 'Never gonna happen.'"

What do you say, Simon? Will even has a good idea about how to get into character:

"Come on, Simon. You know it would be fun. I could spend some time shadowing you. We could spend time in your mansion in high trousers and black, round-neck tees just being rude to people, it would be great."

Simon actually has a pretty good sense of humor — we could kinda see this happening! Just not sure anyone would want to watch.

What do U think of Will Ferrell's idea?

Will Ferrell is not nearly as funny as he thinks he is and he would make a terrible Simon Cowell. Physically he bears absolutely no resemblance, and as an 'actor' there is no way he cold pull it off in a serious manner.

Will has bigger problems to deal with right now. A good bounce back from Land of the Lost. I looked it up an Anchorman was not nearly the failure I thought it was.
In any case i think Will's tongue was firmly planted in this cheek when he made these remarks.

I would be the first one to see it, I Love the majority of Will Ferrell's work, and Anchorman was the best movie ever, used to watch it all the time in the army.
