50 Cent isn't impressed with fellow rapper Jay-Z after a failed collaboration attempt he blames on Jay!
He reveals in a new interview:
"What I did was Freeway went out and found his publishing deal, and we started the album, and Jay did Big Spender and I did Take You to the Top, and when it came time to put the record out, he didn't want to shoot his video, so I"m like, 'Why am I going to shoot mine? I'm not shooting it. It's on your label.'
"He has a king complex, he thinks he's fucking Jesus, you know what I mean? This J-Hova shit."

Freeway has been openly discussing the difficulties he is having with JayZ in trying to put out his own music but Jay is stopping him. Won't release him from contract stipulations even if they pay him out etc.
Jay is ruthless, power hungry, and just has the money to usually shut people's mouths. He can't shut 50's mouth.

I definitely thought some of Jay Z's songs were catchy, but I've never thought him a great rapper. Doesn't he say he's the 'new Sinatra' on his new song? That's pretty delusional, if you ask me, so I don't think 50's opinion is totally out of line. It's a fine line between confidence and deluded arrogance. I don't listen to that much rap, but from what I do listen to, it seems there are lots of underground rappers with more skill, and more profound songs than any of these mainstream rappers.

I used 2 think 50 was a giant douche but i saw a couple interviews where he was extremely humble and gracious and sincere so i looked up more interviews and go figure, he's really down to earth and funny. Jay on the other hand i used 2 like but after looking back over his work you realize that he's really not that great that he gets 2 raise him self so high. he has nothing to say, his beats are so VERY average and forgettable and has a nauseating ego that makes you wanna put boogers in his hair when he's not looking.

Well to be honest, Jay Z does have a Jesus complex. HE calls himself J-Hova likening himself to Jehova, so he's right on that, and alot of his lyrics tend to jab at religion, church etc.
And just because Jay is financially more successful than 50 doesn't mean he's jealous for calling it as he sees it.
And I wish people actually knew about Hip Hop b4 making claims. I hate when people act like Biggie and Tupac started the rap game. Lyrically Rakim & KRS were masters!!! The problem, hip hop wasn't as commercially viable back then so even the best got no air play from the commercial media and couldln't be as financially successful back then the way Jay Z is now. Jay was around back then and no one even knew who HE was.
Also Jay isn't so different from narcissistic and arrogant Diddy, personality-wise. They have both pretty much evolved into the same type of person.
