The closest Taylor Lautner is ever going to get to a rehab is hearing Amy Winehouse sing about it on the radio while cruising about town with Taylor Swift.
We're actually talking about another member of Tay Tay's pack. Chaske Spencer, who plays the wolf pack leader Sam Uley in New Moon, went to rehab before he started production on the movie to kick a nasty drug addiction.
For five weeks, Chaske was allegedly treated at the Northwest Indian Treatment Center. A fellow patient named Ray Martin told the National Enquirer:
"Chaske confided to me that he was up for a role in a 'really big movie' and didn’t want to screw it up. He said, 'If anyone finds out I’m here, it would be the worst thing in the world. It could ruin my career! Chaske is part Lakota Sioux and part Nez Perce, so he really identifies with the Native American culture. He wanted to get sober in a place with other Native Americans. From the way Chaske spoke in the group, I figured his drug of choice was either cocaine or methamphetamine. He talked about how he’d get all 'jittery' after using. He said that he'd get 'tweaked out' and stay locked in his room."

Addiction can strike the rich or poor, famous or unknown equally. It is sad that this person choose to break the confidentiality that exists in most of these programs to tell about Chaske's problems for cash.

Does Ray Martin not understand what the word anonymous means? because they were both in NA, narcotics anonymous, meaning everyone there is sworn to secrecy. The secrecy is who attends the meetings and the information that they share must stay in that room. how disrespectful!!

Addiction is something that has a massive impact on the American Indian community. This guy is trying to escape that and create a better future for himself and you're going to exploit him based on the hear say by some random? You guys are SO RIGHT! I've never been on drugs or rehab or anything, but I can just say that's it's so sad that a person who chose to deal with a problem privately gets screwed but a PEER. Glad he is sober and doing well! This story in no way should reflect bad on his character, but only show his good character and getting himself clean of drugs.
if this douche is making the whole thing up (which he could be since it's completely not verifiable since these rehab centers are so private) to make some quick bank with a sleazy tabloid, then that is messed up…but if he's telling the truth and the actor really was at the rehab center, then that is even more messed up of him to rat him out like that
Who is the rat who broke the anonimity of a person going through treatment? That guy is LOW in my books. There is a saying in treatment "Whatever is said here, stays here". Especially after the dude said that his career could be ruined by it coming out that he's getting help for drug problems. SHAME on this guy!

Well if it is true then it is very inspiring that he went out got help, delt with his problem and look at him now…He comes across as a very genuine person in the interviews…Chaske is cool in my books, looks like Ray martin needs to go back to rehab or get some spiritual guidance of hid own.

Revealing private information like this can effect him even though he seems to have kicked his habit. Insurance companies may charge higher rates to involve him in a film or he may find himself the subject of piss tests.

he was in rehab over a year ago (19 months exactly) before the whole twilight craze started…and way before they started casting for the wolfpack…this guy ray martin is lying and chaske may be taking legal action…he got clean and sober for his life not for a movie….
