After canceling his performances on Good Morning, America, Jimmy Kimmel Live and the network's New Year's Eve special, Glambert has now been invited to perform on The View!
Adam tweeted about his upcoming appearance with Babs & Co.:
"Hey friends! I will be performing and hanging w the ladies of ABC's The View Thursday the 10th!"
Will ABC cancel on Glambert for a fourth time next week????

I'm glad ABC has relented. But, here's the issue I have with all of this Adam discussion - it's a lot of hype trying to generate album sales that aren't happening. Yes, he did well on week one, but not as well as expected. And week 2 isn't turning out nearly as well.
So, on the one hand, the press are talking about Adam, on the other, you have a woman who broke the all-time GLOBAL first week sales record for a new artist, and no comment from most of the media. This is a woman who's overcome a pretty signiicant disability (brain damage), and she could be a tremendous example and inspiration for so many. And yet, we here about this stuff. Again, glad ABC relented. But, I'm getting sick of hearing about Adam doing things that don't involve singing. Just sing.

Hitsdailydouble had him going to sell alittle over 200,000 which he almost did but thats not what the record company expected him to do and he exceeded what they thought. Now it's can he hang on with each single and stay in the top 100 for awhile. Few artists have been so it's doubtful.

He will appear on the View just with the new changes he said he is going to try and a stronger focus on the music. In other words what he was told to do by his record company and if you think otherwise you are nieve (remember they asked a gay mag to tone done the gay angle).
The second single is better, just. Longevity in the top ten/twenty will determine where this thing goes. He needs to sell at least 1 million or there is going to be disappointment. Also a theater or large club tour right after the new year focusing on the music would help and make for some happy fans.
Adam is a fantastic entertainer I look forward to seeing him every chance I get. Thankfully ABC saw the light and will no longer attempt to suppress his talent! I would love it if he sang "Time for a Miracle" on the View. That is a beautiful song that needs some air time so that perhaps he may soon be nominated for an Oscar for best movie theme song! Are you listening Adam? Adams CD is great and addictive. Once you hear it you can stop hitting re-play! Go Adam!
It's going to be pre-taped…not live in the studio…so it really doesn't count. It will still be funny to hear the View gals commentary on this again. I still think Adam belong on the NYE show.
The album is doing better than expected….in a VERY competitive time. And it hasn't gotten much radio play at all. it's really great.

Since his appearance on The View is being taped, ABC is not worried on what he might pull on the spur of the moment. Hope he will show some class and maturity and still not try some shock and awe on the viewers. I think he is just loving all the fallout and commotion after the AMAs. He should be more concerned on presenting his voice better. He sounded awful on the AMAs and only die hard fans would say he sounded great.
