Cougar Cruise!

The first cruise aimed at older women interested in younger men, just left San Diego this morning! For three nights, sexually charged fifty-somethings will try to get their hands on equally sexually charged twenty-somethings.

We hear that this International Cougar Cruise sold out INSTANTLY and that the company sponsoring the event had to hire more staff, just to field the phone calls!

In a press release for the cruise, the organizers promise three glorious days of meet-ups with singles, dancing, and non-stop partying. The pitch for the cruise says that a cougar "knows exactly what she wants … (and) what she doesn't want is children, cohabitation or commitment."

None of that aboard this love boat! (Except maybe the children part! Hope they check IDs!)

I'd doubt there'd be lots of guys in their 20's willing to pay to take a trip with a bunch of dried-up menopausal women … unless they were getting paid to get laid.

@ShoeWhore- I'm always amused when younger women react so strongly to the notion that older women can snag "their" men. I'm 45 and hate to break it to you, but I have guys in their 20s trying to get in my pants all the time, even when they have younger girlfriends. I'm not talking ugly guys, either. They all say girls their age are too annoying, lol. Deal with it.

I was on this cruise - not as a cougar, but on the cruise nonetheless. There were families, honeymooners, couples, friends & singles groups ALSO on this cruise so it was not the mad frenzy for older women to bed younger men all over the ship as some would like to believe. Granted there were MANY cougars who were….hmm…just out to get what they wanted (and maybe thought they were hot when they were maybe 'hot-flashing')….but the majority of the cougars were well behaved but fun loving women and the young men who were there JUST for the cougars were the nasty ones. Young, idiotic behavior, thinking they were God's gift, coming onto ALL women who were older than they were (regardless of whether they were actually cougars or not!) surpassed the number of (quoting SHOEWHORE below) 'dried-up menopausal women' . . . so the number of men who PAID to be on this cruise with the single women was VERY HIGH…..single, horny men outnumbered the single women - that's for SURE! In their defense, there were also a good number of POLITE, young men on this cruise.

Good Job Carnival Staff for a great trip!

That's fucking gross. Think about how you would react if the genders were reversed. Why is it acceptable here? It's a woman who is over 40 who knows what she doesn't want from a young man: children, cohabitation or commitment…..it wasn't supposed to be a f**k-fest - it was a group of like-minded individuals coming together and enjoying themselves. Every guy I know says that they loved older women when they were young because the women knew what they wanted, weren't annoying, and could teach them a lot of things in the bedroom. If I was still single, I'd much rather date a guy who was schooled by a cougar, than some bumbling idiot who doesn't know anything more than "put it in the hole."

I've always liked younger men (and I've dated guys all over the age spectrum). Younger men tend to be in better shape, and tend to be eager-to-please in so many ways. My husband just turned 20 two months before we got married (I'm 28) but I know lots of 40-something old men with less maturity.

Not ever "cougar" is 50 and nasty. Many are just women who know what they want and where to find it (and who don't need a "sugar-daddy" to support them).

Older guys have always dated younger women, so what's the big difference? This isn't the 1950s–many women now make better money than men, so why can't they have their arm-candy if they want it?
