Dennis Quaid Restores Some Honor To Family Name
As Randy Quaid fights with hotel concierges and the US Government, his younger brother, Dennis Quaid, is actually doing something meaningful with his time.
Dennis is teaming up with the America Society of Health-System Pharmacists to establish two important new initiative, while also starting his own family foundation.
Dennis announced he would be joining forces with the ASHP to strengthen their Pharmacy Technician Initiative and the pioneer new National Alert Network (NAN).The Pharmacy Technician Initiative will "secure standardized requirements for pharmacy technician training", and NAN will "help prevent dangerous and repeated medication errors".
Along with this, Dennis is announcing the launch of his own project, The Quaid Foundation, with a mission to "help minimize the impact of human error in patient medical care."
Sounds like good honest work to us! At least someone in the family is getting it right!

Good for him! Sad that it took an almost tragedy for this to come about, but if it helps saves more lives by unnecessary medicating, than I am all for it. It's nice to see celecs actually DOING good rather than just giving it lip service in a magazine quote.

As long as teeth are brushed, flossed, gums in good shape and cavities/root canals/caps taken care of, that's all that really matters.
