New Moon Gets Blind Sided At The Box Office

We didn't expect this!

Sandra Bullock's The Blind Side was #1 at the box office this weekend, raking in $20.4 million! That's on top of the $57 million already made!

However, New Moon is still doing well. It took the #2 spot with just over $15 million in ticket sales over the weekend.

What didn't do well?

Robert DeNiro and Drew Barrymore's new flick Everybody's Fine.

It only pulled in $4 million!

Can you say BOMB???

      This really doesn't surprise me at all… I'm a HUGE Twilight fan but Blind Side was one of the best movies I've ever seen. New Moon really wasn't a great movie, it just has a huge fan base.

      you're forgetting the bigger story from this weeekend. Clooney's new film 'Up in the Air' debuted in 15 theatres and raked in $1.2 million. That's huge.

I understand that you are healthier now and don't go out drinking to the clubs etc… but maybe you should start sending your interns out so you actually have some real gossip to print.

      Perez, you keep forgetting that it has been out for 3 weeks now. The total is much more than you reported. So far, The Blind Side has earned a total of $129.3 million.

      YAY!!! I'm so excited! I was in this film, and was also a stand-in for a chunk of it. I thought it would do well as soon as I read part of the script and watched Sandra's AMAZING performance on set, but to be a part of a #1 hit movie makes my whole day brighter!

      This movie is a true story. It is definitely a movie I want to see. I'm a Twilight fan but NM at best was okay. I'm really tired of hearing about the movie and the actors. I hope they stop at Eclipse I really hope they don't make BD.

      This movie deserves the top spot, a wonderful story and great message, what message does new moon have ? Hopefully this will be a sign that people are SICK of the trashiness of this decade and want more films like the blind side, and less things like new moon and horrible blog sites that tear other people down and add revenue to a fat middle aged mans pockets

      it only made 15 million cuz everybody has already seen it already who are bigs fans they all went the first and second weekends to see it thats why they made like 230 million after only being out for 10 days
