Chuck Heath claims that his daughter returned to Alaska because the Asian and Pacific Islander population of Hawaii made Palin uncomfortable!
"They were a minority type thing and it wasn't glamorous, so she came home," said Heath.

I am not defending Palin in any way, but any person, particularly any white person, who has spent any signifigant amount of time in Hawaii knows that racism against whites is pretty open and approved of…of course that's not generally considered a problem and is even encouraged in this country. In fact even the Sothern Poverty Law Center has complained about it, and they are as leftist a group as you can get. I'd never live there long term. The racism is often (and I mean often) expressed with violence.

I went there on vacation. The Koreans and natives were cool but the Japanese were snotty like they owned Hawaii. I never had a prejudice against Japanese people before but the ones in Honolulu made me not want to go back there ever. It's not like we were unattractive or badly behaved. They are just d*cks.

She fishes/lives in Dillingham, AK for a part of the year, which is 90% Alaskan native and NO glamour what-so-ever…its a small fishing villiage. It takes a lot for me to refer to someone as a racist, especially in their youth.
In the last census whites only made up 24% of the native Hawaiian population, of note pure Hawaiians or Pacific Islanders only make up 9% of the population. Asians are the largest percent in the 40s. Also many Asians send their children to high school and sometimes college in Hawaii to increase their "western" knowledge.
In Alaska whites make up 70% of the population (close to the national figure) and Native Americans/Inuits make up 15% of the population. Just FYI.
I don't know how these Right Wing Republicans believe their own bullshit - let alone expect millions of Americans to follow it????
