Weezer Frontman In Hospital After Bus Crash
Scary!
While on the way to Boston via Toronto Sunday morning, Weezer's bus slid off the road just outside of Albany, New York after hitting a patch of ice!
Lead singer Rivers Cuomo complained of rib pain at the scene and was quickly transferred to the hospital. His wife Kyoko and two-year-old daughter Mia were also on board, but they were not injured in the accident.
One of the band's assistants was also taken to the hospital after experiencing back pain.
A policeman at the scene said that it was amazing the bus didn't flip over! What a relief!
Drummer Josh Freese explained on Twitter that there are "some injuries, but everyone's alive and in one piece."
We hope Rivers and anyone else that was harmed recovers quickly!

i drove by this on sunday, i didn't know who it was at the time but it was scary it went right through the guard rail and was sitting in a ditch the roads were slippery though because it had been snowing
