It's almost been a year since the untimely passing of Natasha Richardson.

Now her sister, Nip/Tuck's Joely Richardson is opening up about how she has dealt with the death.

The day after Natasha's funeral Joely went right back to work. She explains: "A strange autopilot kicks in; your psyche puts your work day into a different compartment from your private life. I’m not kidding — my first shot back on set was reacting to someone dying.”

Joely goes on to say:

"The shock shatters you on a cellular level, and it takes time for the pieces to come back together, albeit in a different formation. So much of what I am is who Tasha was, and I think, sharing all those formative years, there is level of merging. . . I cannot imagine that there will ever be a day when I don’t think of Tasha.”

Sad.

Now Joely has made plans to move to New York with her daughter Daisy for two months to be closer to her sister's two sons with husband Liam Neeson.

Hopefully seeing a little bit of Natasha in the kids will help the healing process.

OMG, it's been almost a year already??? Wow. I remember that shortly after her passing, we in Quebec got a lot of shit from American journalists and experts who said that our health care system sucked and that if her accident had happened in the States, she could have been saved. But the fact remains that she refused to go to the hospital after her accident. As sad as that may sound, if she didn't survive, it just means that it was her time to go. But my thoughts and prayers still go out to the Richardson family as well as Liam Neeson and his sons.

Aww…my heart goes out to her and all her family. That was such a shocking and senseless tragedy that could have been avoided. Natasha was a wonderful actress and mother and I hope her kids will remember her all their lives.

I kind of found her description of loosing a sibling accurate and profound.

It is so sad. I had the exact same reaction when my sister died two years ago. Went back to school a couple of days later and think about her every day. My thoughts go out to anyone that has ever lost someone dear.

Liam Neelson stated he was going to move into a NYC carriage horse stable. On Jon Steward Show, Liam was so foul and mean and showed no compassion for those suffering horses. about 2 weeks later this tragedy befalls him. Karma is a bitch sometimes.

So sad. I still can't believe she is gone. God Bless Liam and their sons.
