More Dance Crew On MTV

MTV has renewed its hit reality dance show Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew for a fifth season!
The show will return on January 28 along with Taking the Stage which has been renewed for a second season. Tony DiSanto, MTV's president of programming says:
"While each series is a different format, both have music at their core. It is the mode of expression for these kids who are trying to live their dream."
Blah, blah, blah.
We've kinda had enough of these dance shows.

I do my fair share of reality TV watching including watching The Real World since I was the right age to be on it (the first few seasons) to today when I am old enough to be a parent to any cast member. I like the challenges as well.
But no dance reality no matter what the show or network.

Yup but only because my friends are on this one; this'll be the first season I've watched since season 1. Dallas represent!
They should start a Dancing with the Z-listers show, you'd be able to wear your mom's unitard and ankle warmers you're so fond of and perform Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies.
ill be watching..as long as they go back to it being about hip hop crews…unlike last season..that was horrible.

I finally agree with you on this one, Perez. Season 4 sucked so fucking hard, it's annoying now. Jabba and Quest won, who cares about the rest?

i loved season 4. bout time someone wins other than a bunch of dumb flipping monkeys.
This show is by far my ABSOLUTE favorite reality dance show. I only watch one other, and I think the rest suck.
I think that the people who loved last season were either people with some background in dance, who could appreciate the mixture of the groups, or someone who's wanting to know more about other styles of dancing other than b-boy and hip-hop. I thought last season was the best season so far. Some of the guys in final groups from past seasons were on other dance shows, and have admitted to classical training (ballet, etc.) to help improve their style of dancing.
Just because it's not hip-hop or b-boy, doesn't make the style of dance bad. What makes a bad b-boy or hip-hop crew is not being able to transition to other styles no matter how good their are in their own style of dance.
"We've had enough" of what? Jerk. Some of us actually enjoy the show. Don't watch it if you don't like it. I will be watching it.
Why won't they actually play MUSIC instead?
UNLESS THEY STOP RIGGING THE VOTES AND STOP PICKING PEOPLE THAT CAN ONLY DO A ONE TRICK PONY(AKA BREAKDANCING) INSTEAD OF THE REAL DEAL (DANCING) THEN MAYBE I'LL START WATCHING AGAIN.
