      I am so excited that Sade is back on the scene! I cannot believe that this woman is 50 and she is still drop dead gorgeous and her voice is phenomenal. A lot of the so-called “divas” of today can take a lesson from her in class and elegance.

      I hate to be the buzzkiller, BUT this song belongs totally in the Dido/Sade age of 10 years ago. There is nothing new in this song. Her voice sounds less velvety and the ambient music backing it is just not novel. This is like an out take of "Lovers Rock" - which was a great album at the time. Like many other artists she has waited too long.

      SADE…ugh….The reason why she's been so quiet is she killed someone in Jamaica with her car and fleed the scene and was wanted for awhile, true story, so no not looking forward to her at all.

      SADE LEADS POLICE ON CHASE

      Sade failed to pull her car over when asked by the police in Jamaica. Sade reportedly cursed the officers as she was loaded in to the squad car and taken to the station. Months later, an arrest warrant for Sade was issued after she failed to appear in court in Jamaica to face charges of dangerous driving and disobeying a police officer. Sade later stated that she was unable to appear in court due to the hospitalization of her child. Medical proof of her child's hospitalization allowed the arrest warrant to be "stayed."

      Re: jazzypants – There's still no confirmation that that story is ANYTHING but a rumour and there is NO mention of an accident or a dead child as Coco_chanel put in his/her comment. The other side of the story is according to encyclopedia.com, that the police wanted a bribe from her because of her fame. Again, just rumours.

      Loved her so much "back in the day". Her first two albums were both nearly perfect.
      A nice greatest hits package as well. I only hear glimpses of the artist she was in this song, sorry. Especially not digging the other vocalists especially when she sings the chorus.

      As a long time fan, we all know she technically can't sing all that well, but it works for her. Most will argue that Billie Holiday, Diana Ross, Liz Phair, Bob Dylan, or Suzanne Vega, among others, couldn't sing either, but they had a way of working with what they had. And I get more joy listening to Lady Day or Sade than I do most technically proficient singers.

      Where do you hear these things? I was in Jamaica at the time. The police officers accused her of speeding and Sade claims tried to persuade her to give them money on the spot in lieu of a ticket (which is possible in Jamaica) and she refused.

      No one was killed (laugh). When she failed to appear in court, the Jamaican courts issued a bench warrant for her arrest, which is common practice. My brother spent an afternoon in jail for missing a speeding ticket summons. The Jamaican court go overboard on the traffic issues.
