Though it was pouring in Southern California yesterday, Robert Downey Jr. showed off his generous side by being good to his fans.

Rob was honored yesterday with his hand and feet imprintment ceremony over at the Chinese Grauman's Theatre. Dozens of fans came out to support him and he returned the favor by signing autographs and posing for pictures.

Good man!

      who cares about his azz, he is a reformed drug addict, but no one ever says anything about that!!!! But poor Chris Brown can't catch a break from Perez at all!!! and if he can change so can Chris Brown. and remember Perez "let he who is without sin cast the first stone".

      It`s amazing how his life just made a complete 180 degree turn after he got off the drugs. This is a guy who was facing complete ruin, spending all his days in jail and by sheer willpower he got off that stuff and look at the result. I think at his lowest was when he was caught with heroin, cocaine and a gun in his car but the judge gave him a chance and he turned it all around. Amazing

      He has lasted this long in the industry including during the messy years because of two thinhs, his talent, and the fact he is a class act towards fans.

      I met him years ago at a music store I was working at. He was super friendly and really respectful of the staff and the throng of teenage girls that were following him. He signed every autograph for them and left the store leaving everyone in a great mood. He deserves all the success he's experiencing now.

      I have always felt that Robert was a class act and I can never remember a time he has not loved his fans. Hollywood needs more actors that care about US, like he does. He is such a rare talent. He is also going to receive his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame soon. (Um, is it just me or does Susan look pregnant? Looks like she has put on weight. That would be nice for him.)

      I watched "Chaplin' last week and still love it. He WAS Charlie. It was extraordinary. I will go see "Sherlock Holmes" at the theater and not wait for DVD.

      I keep hoping he will play a role of a lifetime and get the Oscar he deserved way back in "Chaplin" but was denied. He's so damned likable for a junkie and I hope this recovery will stick so that he will prevail, eventually, at award time someday soon.
