We've just learned that the latin diva will be making her Disney Channel debut in the coming weeks. Shakira, Shakira sat down with Access Hollywood on the set of Wizards of Waverly Place to discuss her guest appearance, working with the cast, and what she think's about Selena Gomez's voice.

The Ugly Betty episode where they went to the Bahamas (currently "gathering dust" in my DVR memory) and also featuring Shakira had a 33% increase in viewers compared to the previous week (after Thanksgiving). The numbers are still kind of sad but they are up.

It's not her first time at a kid's show, though. She did a spot in TAINA back in 2001 I think. It was when her first English album came out. So this shouldn't be that out of the ordinary– unless people don't rememember TAINA.
