The Gosselin Kids Miss The Cameras
With filming on Jon & Kate Plus 8 on hold for the past few weeks, it seems Kate Gosselin is doing whatever it takes to get the cameras back up and rolling.
And oddly enough, Kate was selected as one of Barbara Walters' The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009 which airs tomorrow night.
During the interview Kate even claims the kiddies are missing all the money cameras being around.
Says Kate:
"They cried in the van on the way home from school the other day. I finally admitted to them, they kept asking, 'Where's the camera crew? Where's the camera crew? We miss them.' And I said, 'Our show is over.' …Eight sobbing kids driving home from school."
Kate also opened up about Jon's "epiphany" to remove his kids from the spotlight. Instead, admitting she believes he did that only "because he could."
Kate adds, "Unless you live in my house and, and see how everything that we have done with the show has been such a great experience, you can't speak."

I'd believe that the kids miss it. Imagine when you were younger and had your house remodeled. When the construction crew left you always missed having them around the house … THAT'S WHAT THIS IS but with many more years with the crew.
it is possible that the kids miss the actual crew, and not the cameras. the crew has been around them 24/7 since they were practically fetuses.
Kids usually don't deal well with big changes….the cameras not being around is a big change. That's what that is. They will get over it and will most likely be better off.

I agree with the people saying they were used to having the crew & cameras around. They were around when they were like, what, 2? and until a year ago. That's a long time & I would say its sad not having them around anymore.
If Jon & Kate were really trying to sell their kids out, they'd be trying to get another show. I know there are rumors about Kate getting another one.. is that with just her or with the kids? If its just her, that's just her being a famewhore & not exploiting the children. Douchebag John just talked about having a show by himself, so not exploiting his children.
Just because they both want TV time does not mean they're exploiting their children. I'm not saying that its healthy, or the kids are getting the attention they need, blahblah, I'm just saying people can't say that they are trying to make money off of their children.
this show was great for the kids. the younger 6 would always get attention-sextuplets? always will have people staring until they are adults and can pass for different ages. this show gave them the opportunity to do different things and things that well off families could only do. It also supplied the family with enough money for help so they did not have to do the mondane things and spend more time together. and as for the money, not many people would turn it down, especially when it would make your and your children's life better.
Kate is a money hungry wench! I can't stand her. I will not be watching the Barbara Walters special if she is going to be making an appearance!

I'm sure the camera crew and other crew were like family to the kids and it is probably very traumatic for them to be gone. I feel really sorry for the kids. Kind of like having part of your family ripped away. I'll be they miss them more than they miss their dad.

You could see that the kids loved the crew. I am sure it is like family has left. Jon threatened TLC and used his kids as pawns. TLC did not bow down to Jon and Heller so Jon stopped the kid's filming from just for spite. Jon does not care about his children. Jon is a jealous man-child of his own children and his wife. After Heller cleans out Jon's bank accounts, Heller will recommend Jon go to rehab and Jon will. Jon is a loser.
Those kids are going to grow up so royally fucked in the heads. Poor, poor kiddos…. i believe that. the camera crew has been around those kids for years, it all they've known really and to suddenly not have them must be a really difficult/hard change. you would think that jon would want to continue taping as to keep things as normal for the kids as possible through thier divorce, i mean having their parents divorce is hard as it is, now throwing in not being with their camera crew, it must be heartbreaking. my heart goes out to all of them.

Which demonstrates why child actors actresses are messed up when they grow up in Hollywood. They don't understand why they aren't the centre of attention anymore. Kate doesn't know how to explain why the cameras aren't there anymore and is upset that Jon wanted it to stop? I'm no fan of Jon but, I question the parenting skills of anyone that can't deal with the disappointment of their kids and put it off on their ex-spouse. Hopefully they get over it quickly and learn to live without the spot light because if they don't, they will be messed up the rest of their lives.

EVERY psychologist interviewed about this family has said what a horrible thing filming this show is for the children. PAST CHILD STARS have said how detrimental it is for them. None of those people live in her house, BUT THEY ARE THE EXPERTS. Kate should shut her mouth and LISTEN to them. The kids miss THE CREW because they were nice to them and when they were there is the only time Kate paid any attention to them and didn't hit them with her wooden spoons (she even keeps one in the door of her car).
