Travis Barker Settles Crash Suit
Stemming from the jet crash that left him with severe injuries and four dead, Travis Barker settled the lawsuit against defendants Clay Lacy Aviation, Goodyear Tire & Rubber and Global Exec Aviation among others.
Although the terms of their settlement are confidential, they struck a deal during a mediation session on November 18th as did Thelma Still, the mother of Travis' bodyguard, Che Still.
DJ AM's estate are also suing for wrongful death as they feel the accident led to his overdose in August. The case is still pending.

That's great and all, but I really don't think DJ AM overdosed because of the accident. I'm sure they're just in it for the money like everyone else is.
There really must have been some wrongful shit that went down for them to settle so seemingly quickly.
As for Adam it may be difficult for the court to connect the dots from wrongful accident, to serious injuries, to need for addictive painkillers in a person with an addictive history, to a ruled accidental death from poly-substance use that many consider a suicide in all but official ruling.

I'm so glad to hear that Travis Barker got money out of this. Since there's no more room for tats he can buy more stupid trucker hats. Clay Lacy Aviation will go out of business and we'll all pay more money for tires.

That whole situation just sucks. But Travis should just be glad he's alive. With the exception of DJ AM (RIP), the rest of those families can't say the same thing. I hope Travis will give the money to someone's family or use as a memorial fund or some sort of good.
