It seems 50 Cent has his panties in a bunch since he wasn't nominated for a Grammy this year!
In fact, he's been nominated 13 times, but has failed to win!
He told MTV:
"Man, f**k the Grammys! I couldn't care less about the Grammy Awards. It'll be the Beyoncé and Taylor Swift show. I guess they'll both be performing at the awards show, which means their record companies will be spending money to raise the production values of the entire show. And when you spend that kind of money you're supposed to get trophies."
Fitty is known for being a sore loser. He stormed off the Grammy stage in 2004 after losing out on the Best New Artist award to Evanescence.
You'd think if he could take 9 bullets, a little rejection would be nothing!

Literally, the Dave Matthews Band album is probably the only halfway decent thing on there. Everything else is pop crap (and also Mrs Future Former VinceNotVance, Taylor Swift who is great and all but she really shouldn't be making the AotY category).
The Grammy's are retarded. Remember when they used to nominate new, fresh, creative work, from bands like Gnarls Barkley and LCD Soundsystem?

I don't think he's bitter, I think he's right. With these shows money does buy trophies… mostly because, well, money buys success in the pop world and that's all award shows care about. That's why I don't care about most pop/ pop stars today and for the past 20-30 years… the real musicians don't make the cut, while the tarts on autotune win all the awards.
What he says is Truth whether people like it or not. Taylor Swift and others performing ensures the Grammy promotion thus production and you don't get something for nothing. 13 Grammy nominations speaks for itself. He is that good. I was disappointed when Mary J. Blige got nominated for 8 and ONLY won 3. I Love her. Mind you, I don't care for his genre of music thus I'm not a fan. But I Love the Truth because it sets you Free and in this world, so rare.

Why is 50 tryin to take the Kanye route…go count your millions and then try to cry about a trophy that means dick about real talent. The greatest artists making music today will never see a Grammy, and they're not going to pout in public about it. Maybe that's because they're making music for the love of making music, and not shallow rewards.

50 does have a point; beyonce' singles were absolutely crap with the same styled videos; i thought they were so crap that i wouldn't even download them for free!! And regards to taylor swift; come one she is overrated practically every song sounds the freakin same to me. At least Pink got some few nominees as she always produces different stuff from album to album. However, I don't agree with 50 to pity him for not being nominated; his material has gone down the drain as well and has some stiff competition. I personally am finding the Grammy's more focused on pop and r'n'b shit lately; practically every category has an r'n'b and hip hop song; which lets admit it they all sound practically the same. Long live rock music!!
I actually respect 50 but he needs to stop complaining, he isn't as good as he used to be when he debuted. Did he really expect to be nominated? He JUST came out with a new song and album, this Grammy is pretty much for people who came out with hits/albums late 08 to mid 09. He sounds so ignorant.
