      Memoirs of an imperfect angel is an amazing cd. I just got it yesterday and i cant stop playing it. Really good songs: The impossible, Obsessed, H.A.T.E. U., Candy Bling, Ribbon, Standing O, Betcha Gonna Know, Angels Cry, More then just friends. Actually I should of just put all of them down. They are all really good.

      Holy digital alteration!!! This is the infamous bathing suit video, and it's been obviously touched-up. It seems ridiculous to me that this video was made at all, since the ENTIRE WORLD saw the unedited shots. I like the song, however, very pretty.

Wow, good acting … even the cute writing the title of the song in the sand lol…whatever… listen, MiMi hasn't been known always for the best videos. That great song of her's, Love Takes Time, is her basically walking UP and DOWN teh shore … but its still an amazing song…

      Gotta give it to her songwriting wise though… this is a really PRETTY song!

      I saw pictures not photoshopped of her in the tabloids and she was huge. This is a massive photoshop job and she still doesn't look good. The song sucks.       Re: nermend – Mariah's first single, Vision of Love, was released in 1990. That's 19 years. Also, if Mariah was being held down by our society's youth obsession, why is Madonna still so successful? Maybe it's just that Mariah's music is horrendous and she refused to change with the times, still dressing like a 90's teenager. She's got the voice, no doubt, but everything she's come out with since the early 90's has been terrible. Check out her MTV Unplugged Album and you will see where her true talent lies. She needs to tap back into that.

I've also had the pleasure of meeting her and she is so sweet and genuine. Comparing Mariah to Madonna is like comparing apples to oranges.       I agree that the whispering sucks. I wish she'd stop it. NOBODY likes it except for her. I do think, though, that aside from the first verse that she completely whispers, the rest of the song is REALLY good. This sounds like a big hit, and it's way better than any of her recent singles.

      The video is simple, but I like it. The ocean has always been a metaphor of rebirth and regeneration and I think the video suits the song very well. It's very reminiscent of the "Love Takes Time" video she did back in '90 and "My All" from '98. The video was in '98, folks, and the song was released in '97 so don't blast me on me not knowing my dates. The song is very pretty as well. It's not electropop, hip hop, or vocals submerged in auto-tune. It is a slow jam R&B ballad that hits the right cord with me. Very relatable. Mariah's songwriting never fails to impress. :)

      Met her in person two- three weeks ago and she's definitely thick, but not fat. She surprisingly has a firm belly, although it's getting a bit lumpy because she was considerably trim last year and the fat over muscle thing is… yeah. I think that's why she doesn't have a gut. Even in her much heavier days circa 2006 she never really has a gut. The weight is more noticable and flabby in her arms, though, and she admits to that– as well as her thighs. She's losing weight slowly though and I actually like her a bit heavier.

      Honestly, I know there will be a remix video and I hope it will be kinda like a backwards obsessed video release, that being the remix-video would be more interesting, one with a storyline?!!!
