How sweet!
Catherine Zeta-Jones recently celebrated her 40th birthday! Not that you would ever guess it.
And hubby Michael Douglas had a wonderful gift in store for his lady - a Coton De Tulear puppy!
It wasn't so much a surprise as it was the result of being observant. Catherine confesses she dropped multiple hints on Michael expressing her want for a pooch, since their other animals are in Bermuda where they live.
The rest of the family is in NYC, with Catherine starring in A Little Night Music and Michael shooting Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps in Manhattan.
The puppy is only 6 months old and Catherine says he is the "sweetest little thing."
Congrats on the new addition to the family.

"Michael shooting Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps in Manhattan"…..Um, Oliver Stone (the director of Wall Street 2) said a few days ago that the film finished filming on November 30.
Yeah I know she is way older than 40 , but whatever age she pretends to be she is so so pretty!!!!

i certainly hope this dog was adopted from a shelter or a rescue and NOT bought. no animal should ever be bought through a breeder or a pet store. there are far too many animals that need homes and are put down because of human neglect or cruelty.

Cute story, however who is taking care of her pets in Bermuda? Uhm, wouldn't a better gift be to just ship the ones she already has (and apparantly doesn't take care of) to where she was?…Why buy another neglected animal?
