Last night, the fall finale of Glee brought in some AMAZING numbers in the ratings, their highest by far!

Over 8 million Gleeks tuned in to hear the powerhouse performances!

Impressive!

It must be tortuous for you all to wait until April for new episodes? Will American Idol fill that void for U?

      That show coming on NBC will hold me over but it's only a week long. Damnit… I forget the name. The singing competition with everyone singing a capella

      I loved the episode so much that i saw it THREE times last night… It was the best yet and NO, American Idol will not fill the void. I want more Glee NOW!!!

      Congrats to the cast and crew on such an achievement. I hope they get some Golden Globe love next week!!!

      American idol should have been canceled so many seasons ago. How about they put glee at the same time slot and see how many viewers tune in to watch AI. I'm willing to put money on glee.

      I think I've watch Lea Michele perform "Don't Rain on my Parade" 35 times since it aired, I'm a total Gleek and cannot get enough. April is WAAAY to far away!

      Glee is a bonding experience for my family. My little kids run around singing the songs after the show. I cannot wait for April. We can't sing Defying Gravity for that long. We will need new material. I am sad.

      I am a huge IDOL fan, but I don't know if I can go 4 months without GLEE. This "feel good" show is our favourite TV show of the week. I hope they kick ass in Golden Globe nominations next week!!!

      As if Glee were the #1 show at 9pm on Wednesday, give me a break. Criminal Minds has almost twice the amount of viewers and beats Glee in the demos, oh and then Modern Family has more viewers and beats Glee in the demos. Glee comes in third but followed closely by SVU which Glee kills in the demos (I guess Mario would call it an oldster show) but beat by only .2 million viewers. When all is said and done Wednesday at 9pm is a pretty competitive time slot.

      auditions are funny - everything else for american idol sucks! FOX is stupid for taking glee off the air for that long…they should've found a different nite or earlier in the nite! can't wait till it's back on…and for the DVD release of the first half of season one…hint hint FOX!
