Joy Behar's Show Doing Well
That's probably because we were on her show! Hah.
Joy Behar finished in 4th place in the ratings with her new HLN show for November with an average of 417,000 viewers. But December is shaping up to be an entirely different story.
Joy hosted Martin Short last Thursday and held a discussion on the Tiger Woods scandal which brought in an average of 786,000 viewers!
And on Monday, with Levi Johnston's appearance it went up to 824,000 viewers.
The day after, it went up even further to 999,000 viewers with guest Roseanne Barr!
She even topped Rachel Maddow on Tuesday with the Adults 25-54 ratings!
Good for you, Joy. Congrats!

I watch Nancy and then change the channel. I can't stand how Joy comes across as a bad actress. It's easy to see why she was never offered Meredith's chair when she left the View.

i really like her show… Im glad to hear its doing well. And yes, i saw Perez on the show looking like Lady Gaga's protege. Perez is not the fun person he seems to be in interviews. He's a douche just like the rest of them.

I've always loved Joy, starting to when she was just a guest host when Barbra Walters would be out on the View. This woman is so hiiarious and relatable. Glad to hear her show is doing well. I love and agree with a lot of her opinions, she keeps it real.
Joy rocks! She has the best sense of humour. Thank god for women like her and Chelsea Handler. They keep the rest of us from taking ourselves so seriously…

Well, she sure beats Lou Dobbs, the CNN host whose time slot she was given, but how can anyone chose to watch her when the brilliant (and totally HOT and gorgeous Dyke) Rachel Maddow is on at the same time?
Seriously, Perez, (if you read your comments) - check out Rachel's reports this week on Uganda's proposed law to kill Gay people. She's the only one in main stream media covering this in depth.

I love her and her show! I'm completely not her demographic (white, young 20s), but her show is now a regular in my rotation. I think it is a combination of her, the set, her guests and her crew that laughs in the background. I never really liked her before but I absolutely love this show and her. So good. Just don't put Jill Zarin on anymore, she doesn't shut up.
All Joy does on her show is spew hate for anyone she doesn't like. She's a very bad evil person. Her ratings are LOW even by cable standards, she'll be canceled soon.

I have loved Joy for years and glad her show is doing well. But figured it would because she is one of the few people who is not full of shit when she speaks politically (e.g., Elisabeth???) you were great on her show too short a segment though.
I LIKE HER SHOW. I watch it every night. It's got just the right amount of serious topics mixed with comedic elements. I think it will last a very long time.

i don't even watch CNN anymore.. sorry Larry, since Joy came out with her show at 9pm, I watch that. It's funny, informative and great guests. There is a big following of this show in Canada.

I'm surprised no one (especially you, since he's gay) has mentioned her interview with Andrew Sullivan and his exposure of Sarah Palin's biggest lie–"The Wild Ride". You can find a video of the interview on palingates.
I knew Joy would pull through. Just look at those guests. Her show is ON it with who's hot, and books them instantly. They have their finger on the pulse of pop culture, and they're not afraid to point it.
While I'm at it, I want to say how much I enjoy Joy's wicked and devilish sense of humour, at least on the View and in her comedic bits. She's appreciated in my household.

She's so crass and it's easy to tell that she is envious of the fact that Whoppi is a true comedian to her sloppy third rate act. Her opinions are often offensive and out of place.
Re: BlackGaySocialite – I think you're projecting. She and Whoopi are tight friends, and I'd guess they truly wish each other the best. That might be the way YOU would react, but Joy is way past that green-eyed stage. As far as the humour goes, I find Joy funnier, but I love Whoopi's humour too, and you might find her funnier. To each his own. They all have their audience.
