President Obama Accepts Nobel Peace Prize
President Barack Obama was in Oslo, Norway today to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
The announcement of his award was made back in October and it was met with much controversy, which the President addressed in his acceptance speech:
"I receive this honor with deep gratitude and great humility. It is an award that speaks to our highest aspirations — that for all the cruelty and hardship of our world, we are not mere prisoners of fate. Our actions matter, and can bend history in the direction of justice.
"And yet I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the considerable controversy that your generous decision has generated. In part, this is because I am at the beginning, and not the end, of my labors on the world stage."
It sounds like he should take it as a vote of confidence and a "call to action" from the world.

This is a good thing and virtually assures it will never pass in NJ as our great new incoming Govenor Chris Christie has vowed he will veto any such bill like this. I'm from Norway, ans shit, it's HYSTERIA over here. Obama is only supposed to be here for 26 hours, but we've managed to use 17 million dollars on his one-day visit. It's crazy.
