We Can See Your Halo!

Good idea! Some big names have come together to honor some of the teens doing big things around the country.

Nickelodeon will air its first ever HALO Awards on Friday, which is a ceremony honoring young leaders serving their communities.

Celebrities like Alicia Keys, Hayden Panettiere, and Justin Timberlake will join founder Nick Cannon for an evening paying tribute to philanthropic teens.

Each celeb will present an award to a teen involved in an organization close to their own heart. For example, Hayden is giving back to a volunteer for an ocean research advocacy group (you know how she loves those blowholes!)

Sounds like a nice way to spend an evening! Congrats to all the kids who gave something positive and constructive back to their community!

That's a lot of STARS you named but how come you failed to mention SUPERSTAR Mariah Carey will attend. You also failed to post pics of Mariah at VEVO launch yesterday. You are so transparent.YOu need to get over the fact that she doesn't know you exist and will never acknowledge you. She' too big of a superstar to cater to some blogger.Get over it.

Perez you a dope sometimes. What kind of comedy, laughs, etc. is a lame line like "you know how she loves those blowholes!" supposed to elicit. She is a vocal advocate for saving the whales. It is no joke. You should have let the Halo announcement rest without adding your own excrement to it.

I think this looks so stupid. Only like 4 kids are getting awards and they will NOT STOP playing commercials. It's been like 4 months of the same commercial every 5 minutes.

Positive and constructive do not go hand in hand with Perez's site!!

I don't like Nick Cannon but this is a really good thing he's doing. If Mimi does participate then props to her too. Maybe there's some hope for those two afterall.
