James Cameron Plans Fantastic Voyage!

Before the inevitable Avatar sequels begin, James Cameron will produce a remake of the 1966 sci-fi flick, Fantastic Voyage.

The film, which follows a dying scientist whose only chance for survival lies with five colleagues who are shrunk and injected into his bloodstream, would use the same expensive digital technology as Avatar.

And we assume the studios want to get their money's worth!

Voyage does not have a director, but Roland Emmerich was attached to the project before committing to 2012.

Thoughts???
