There was a blind item the other day that a singer with a "famous name" left Scientology. It sounds like it's Lisa Marie. If that is true, then this story just got exponentially bigger.

This is exploitation at its max. I hope MJ's estate will do something about it. That being said, technically speaking, the estate can't really stop people from "honoring" and "paying tribute" to MJ. Two weeks ago there was a church that did a Sunday sermon based on MJ's songs and philosophy — "The Gospel according to Michael Jackson", but they also did one with U2 songs the following week. I'm pretty sure MJ wouldn't have wanted to be associated with Scientology, but then it would be quite difficult to stop them.
