La Loca Lohan traveled to India to film a doc for the BBC on the topic of child trafficking, and reportedly posted on her Twitter that she "helped rescue 40 child workers in one day."
Would you be surprised to hear that isn't true???
"She was not even in the country when this raid happened," social activist Bhuwan told reporters.
Bhuwan said he's planning on issuing a complaint with the BBC and may even get the law involved!
The BBC has quickly come to Lohan's rescue, stating that Linds was "merely referring to a raid that happened connected to child trafficking" and "did not say she was present at the raid."

For anyone who's ever really been to a third world country, you can't "save" any of the kids, especially with 5 whole hours of "work" and photo ops. if she wanted to "save" 40 kids, here's what she would've actually done: Had homes constructed for the 40 kids and their 40 families, had a school built for these children and their siblings to attend, provide a monthly stipend for food and clothing for the 40 kids and their siblings and parents, provided the parents with job training of some sort (because they pimp out their kids for a reason), and she would have had to offer scholarships for each of those children to attend schools of higher education once their primary education was complete.
I was in Africa for 3 months Lindsay, and I couldn't save one damn kid. Screw you Lindsay, you publicity whore!
She just thinks that since she did the documentary, everything that will happen now regarding this subject will be because of her. She's just self-centered. If I were Bhuwan I'd be pissed too.
