First off, this news is a like a week old. Second of all, I think that retailers at some point need to get over this, the guy made a horrible mistake, I don't defend him, I think it's disgusting, but the dude needs to make a living. If people don't want to buy his music, they shouldn't, but retailers should carry his record and give the public the choice to decide if they want to support him or not.
Also, I wouldn't refer to low record sales as karma. Karma has more to do with one's fate, destiny… it's more comprehensive.
